The Eight Bells - Jevington - Photo album

Fantastic pub up a country road. The cider was good, the good was spectacular. The outside seating area gives you a nice view of the sunset as well as the horses on the fields. Would definitely go back here. Tip: get the Bannoffee pudding.
Had the best non alcoholic beer I've ever tasted in the beautiful pub gardens, sat under grapevines and watched the horses grazing šŸ“ . Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Menu looks great with a great selection of local beers, wines, and spirits in addition to cocktails blended with homemade
It was a lovely night and it wasn't crowded as it was a Tuesday night. I loved the place Jevington and I used to drive occasionally to see the beauty of nature /South down. Eight bells were on my bucket list and it was good. Loved the beer (obviously it was Longman ) and food was kind of ok actuall
Blown away by the food and the service here. Every member of staff had a smile on their face. The specials were incredible. Very dog friendly, even our boy was smiling! The fried bread and butter pudding is a MUST.
We hadn't planned on stopping by Eights bells but we were ferociously hungry. So, we did a quick search and saw the reviews and decided to stop. We were expecting your typical pub cuisine and atmosphere but boy were we pleasantly surprised. The food was exquisite. Phillip, the owner, welcomed us so,
Outstanding Friday summertime lunch. Delicious ploughmanā€™s and mussels. Service fantastic - very friendly, professional and really accommodating for our bikes. Would highly recommend. Thank you for a great lunch
Lovely place. Nice good too. Must stop here if you are around here. We stopped here, enroute to Birling Gap.
ā€˜Oops I dropped the Banoffee pieā€™ experience was delicious. Deconstructed was better than the original. Staff friendly. Sorry we sat inside on a glorious day. Next time weā€™ll stay for longer and have more food and drink. Definitely worth another visit.
We had the pleasure of visiting this charming gastro pub during our stroll along Butts Brow. We indulged in a delightful meal and a refreshing pint. The bustling atmosphere suggests a winning combination of excellent cuisine and a fantastic location. The Eight Bells is a must-visit gem!
Absolutely superb place we stop by on our way back to London Great food, views over the fields are breathtaking
The best vegetarian main Iā€™ve ever had!! šŸ˜Š The front of house was one of the best. Accommodated us without a booking on such a busy day!! Highly recommend!
What a great pub with a fantastic spacious beer garden & gorgeous views. Fantastic Plant-based vegan options (just need to add a vegan banofee pie to the desert menu) ;) & excellent selection of local beers & ales. Welcoming, friendly & helpful staff. Booking is recommended as it does get quite busy
Lovely setting, amazing food & great service. Happened to be sunny out so that enhanced the experience but not needed as everything was so nice. Food was A*, all the staff were so sweet and really helpful! What a find !
Managed to fit us (a table of 7!) in at the last moment. Beautiful cosy pub/restaurants. Service was excellent and friendly and the fish and chips were the best Iā€™ve had in a long time. Everyone loved their meals. Weā€™re new to the area and absolutely will be regulars. Thank you so much!
I reviewed this pub 4 years ago. Itā€™s now under new management and is quite transformed so Iā€™ve deleted my old review. The pub has been transformed inside and out. The interior is light modern and airy and thereā€™s now a large marquee in the garden. The food is imaginative and excellent - though we t
Delicious Sunday roasts, both the traditional and the week's special, plus the nut roast option. All the staff and the chef were very nice and accommodated an uncommon allergy in our table they had not heard about before. Really beautiful outdoor garden space
Visited on a Friday lunchtime (8/4/2022). The recently updated bar area is now the restaurant with table service. Lunch was very good with a good pub menu. There's a good selection of local and guest ales on the pumps. The new outdoor bar and kitchen will work well in the summer months with the usua
