Reviews Oh! Cafebar - Jersey Opera House

A good location which has enough room to sit down in the stalls with my crippled knees and see the stage clearly. I had an enjoyable meal for which I give 3 out of 5. A bit chaotic at interval drinks but where isn't? A brilliant foot tapping show, The Simon and Garfunkel Story. The show was made funny by looking at the audience who were in the main from the generation who first saw S&G. Instead of 'rocking in the aisles' it was a case of listening to the rattle of the beta blockers, ace inhibitors, anti coagulants, as we all sat shaking our heads from left to right!! A good venue and, if the show is right, well worth attending.

I was involved as a choir member taking part in the Signing Choir competition hosted by the Opera House. What a lovely building, with it's own history . The organisers and staff were very helpful and friendly. The cafe was also nice to eat in, food was lovely. Well worth a visit to anyone visiting Jersey. I'm gutted I'm not there for the Rat Pack in December!

The Opera House is a theatre with lots of charm and intricate designs. There is also a chandelier which is a beautiful feature. There is a wide variety of: shows, concerts, live screenings etc. across the year. In general the chair run on the small side. But overall a great place!!!

A nice place to spend an evening being entertained in a throwback to the old theatres of the past. Very welcoming and hospitable. Some of the seats can be a bit 'cozy' in terms of leg room!

Great venue with excellent acts fantastic acoustics for live music. You can pop next door for a pint if you don't want to cue in the break, ideal!

A friend and I recently visited this venue on holiday and saw 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'. There is a booking office and cafe/restaurant. The seats in the theatre are very comfortable and the interior is fantastic. They have a confectionary shop for before performances. The production was by the Jersey Amateur Dramatic Society and if all performances at this venue are of that superb standard then it is certainly worth a visit!

Very nice olde worlde seating and decorations, laid out in the classic style. Went to see a music show here whilst staying at the Grande Jersey Hotel just around the corner. Good acoustics and comfortable seats. Could have done with a few more staff serving at the bars, as the queues were very long.

Lovely theatre, varied productions both local and from the UK. Two bars and food available but popular so book ahead! A good place to just meet friends for a drink also

We watched live production of Aida from The Met in New York and the Opera House setting made you feel as though you were there. Sad that there were so few younger people because it really was an unforgetable experience.

Beautiful theatre with some great shows but whilst I appreciate it is difficult to get staff in the hospitality industry in Jersey they really need more people behind the bar during the intervals.

Beautiful theatre, amazing crew. The back stage area was fantastic and nothing was too much for the crew. I hope to work here again soon ♡

We enjoyed the show, despite a couple of drunks in a row nearby, talking and sloshing their pints about..... the answer is simple, no alcohol in the auditorium
