Had a nice dinner for an 18th birthday. Catered well for the Gluten Free members of the party. Only let down was that it was very empty so lacking in atmosphere. 1st time to Les Fontaine's, and won't be my last.
We were driving round sightseeing and looking for somewhere to have lunch. We checked on Google reviews for this Tavern and they were full of praise for the service and food. We were not disappointed. The service was very helpful and friendly and polite, especially the waitress Laura. The food choice was very good and reasonable prices. I had the Fritto Miso which was on the special board. I've never tried it before, but I will definitely have it again, it was fantastic. There was breaded scampi, battered calamari, battered King prawns, cod fillet and chips, side salad and aioli. The batter on the fish was lovely and very crunchy, so much so that you could hear it as you bit into it! The wife had 1/2 roast chicken and chips and she was equally impressed.
Great pub, went for a big family dinner.
Good portion sizes and lots of choices.
Indoor soft play area and large outdoor play area.
Lots of drink choices.
Liked it a lot going back again in 2 days 😁
Very busy on our visit but we were still served promptly and all the staff were very friendly. Our meals were all delicious. Good for families with children as there is a play area for them as well as children's meals.
It’s great to see how Randalls is managing its dining propositions, finding a perfect balance between quality and value. We had a lovely meal on a Sunday with attentive service from Claire, the waitress.
Spent a pleasant lunch time here while doing a bus tour of Jersey. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Lovely place to eat with a whole family - jungle gym for kids. Great food, great service and wonderful views. Also great outside sitting.
Good food, decent price excellent service.
Lunch was excellent. I had the Carmelized Goat Cheese w/ crusty bread and salad.
Lovely friendly staff
Our granddaughters loved the two play areas especially the indoor one
Quaint little pub in rural St Johns. Lovely pub grub or just stop by for a beer. Quiet and lovely views from out there.
Excellent food, good friendly service.
Be prepared for large quantities of suberb food. Started with prawn cocktails.... Which were huge. We were here during pie month. Steak and mushroom was delicious and the pork belly was one of the best I have had in a long time. Only had room to share a fudge cake though. Great place
Absolutely phenomenal Sunday lunch and delightful staff
A lovely historic place in a great location with extensive indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent service, really good value pub food.
Lovely place, do mind your head as you go in though, ouch
The food was ok altho a lady complained about the chips after she had had the plate of food for half an hour. I thought the chips were good. The service was just right ... Not too much or too little attention. The atmosphere was ok except there was a strange patron there singing like a mermaid or siren loudly to her grand child. A bit off putting! Price seemed a little high for pub grub but I guess this is the case everywhere.
