Visited cafe and shop. Dogs allowed in outdoor courtyard area and made very welcome. Excellent lunch. Best place for Scottish souvenirs. Bucky lip balm, who would have thought if it?

Thanks so much to Born in the Borders for their hospitality! We called ahead and they were kind enough to offer our brewer's group a tour, which was fascinating. Loved every minute. We got beer to go and enjoyed it all the way back to Edinburgh. A great visit!

We had a lovely lunch in the café today. The soup of the day was absolutely delicious as was the carrot cake. Will definitely visit again. The gift shop sold some excellent stuff. Didn't try the outside pizza bar but it was busy so must be good, and children were whizzing down the grass hill on sledges. Looked great fun! Definitely worth a visit!

Fantastic place, dogs only allowed in cafe Court yard, no table available when we arrived but the helpful lady offered to reserve one as soon as there was and asked us to pop back after a wander, only had time to mooch in the gift shop and I came out she was coming to find us, food was amazing, felt very covid safe. Will definitely return if in the area again. Great walk in the grounds too.

Worth a visit. This is a good place for young and old alike. There are a few things to occupy kids and things to interest adults. If the weather is good it's much better. The staff are we'll rehearsed in the Covid requirements and most of the public adhere to the rules. The staff are friendly, helpful and we'll presented. The food is good, fresh and decent helpings. The only downside is that the lunch menu is very limited. There is wheelchair access and disabled access to the toilets. Which are clean and tidy with hand sanitizers available. If you are nearby is a good stopping off point for lunch, coffee break or visiting the on sight distillery.

Lovely café with small range of options (burger, fish and chips, sarnies, soup, cakes) but good service. Beers are delicious - really enjoyed a couple over lunch. Gift shop was quite pricey but good selection.

It's had a name change from Born in the Borders since our last visit. It still has the local brewery selling some lovely beers, and of course the live Osprey nest cam, but the deli/shop and the restaurant seems to have lost its family owned feeling. Definitely a strong product push by a couple of Scotlands iconic products. Both of which I thoroughly enjoy! Only complaint is that the cafe/restaurant stops selling anything to eat other than cakes after 3pm, even though it is open until 5pm. Other than that it would've got 5⭐'s. Well worth a visit with good riverside walks and plenty of open space for kids.

Had a fab afternoon here. Kenny, who did the brewery tour was great. He was a fab and knowledgeable tour guide. The food was amazing (best carrot cake I’ve ever had!) and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Excellent place to visit and drink some nice beers and ciders. The pizzas are probably one of the best i have ever had . There were 5 of us and we had 3 pizzas which were all different and all amazing and filled us all up. Highly recommended

Really lovely. A treasure of a find. I gather it offers plenty to do for families including grass sledging, and you can enjoy a visit to the gin distillery and brew house. The lady in the shop was brilliant. Great local Gin and beers on sale etc. Grandchildren love the Jethart Snails!

Great facility just outside Jedburgh. The new Pizza tent is a good addition to the complex and the food is great with lovely staff. We'll be back for more.

We had our Mother's Day a day early. The kids went grass sledging then we had an excellent meal. Food and service was first rate and the kids loved their ice cream afterwards. We'll definitely be back.
