Great fish & chips. Piping hot and the fish was white, a good knowledge that the fish is very fresh. I couldn't taste the sea, but I enjoyed the faire nevertheless.
Excellent value food, always love getting our local takeaway from here because their food portions are massive and can be shared with many people
Sometimes service can take a while but that’s expected with all places. Would recommend :)

Just had fish and chips from this place and had to leave a review. It was one of the best I've had in years. Not to greasy and the batter was nice a crispy.
Pizzas are so good by Pauls fish grill. Pizza was properly cooked and proper amount of topings and cheese were on it.

The meal was really good. I particularly loved the chips 🍟. It was slightly chunky and moist. The fish was okay too.
Tried this chip shop last night for the first time and didn't realise it was this particular chip shop as I would have avoided it having previously read some of the negative reviews.
However I'm at a loss as to where the bad comments have come from because I cant fault the place.
I ordered fish n chips & chicken nuggets n chips with a carton of gravy.
The portions were really big and the food was really really nice. So I can't fault the place.
The shop is immaculately clean and the girls were very friendly so again no complaints there.
If I'm being forced to pick a fault then that was the wait for the food as the order did take a while but that only shows the food was cooked to order and fresh.
Overall I have hesitation in giving the shop 10/10 & would recommend it

Best chippy in the area. Never had a bad meal from here. Service is fantastic too. Staff very friendly. If your getting food delivered its always nice ans speedy too.

Staff can lack tact, but good, classic food. Easily one of the best places for Fish & Chips in South Tyneside.
