Great country pub, food was great and beer excellent! Nice atmosphere and the locals included me in their friendly banter. Really enjoyed my time with them, thanks!
What a lovely roast dinner, can't praise it enough. The staff were so helpful and pleasant. Only very slight down was the place was full of smoke from their chimney fire (I think). It wasn't their fault though.
Drove past on Sunday whilst staying away, but didn't visit initially as very busy, which is a good sign.
Popped in today (Tuesday) and so glad we did. Rattler on draught, top quality food with one of the best burgers my son has had, friendly service and lovely beer garden. Oh, and an adorable pub pooch !

I visited yesterday with my husband, brother & sister in law for lunch. The food was delicious and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was excellent and the staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. I will definitely be visiting again in the near future. Top notch at reasonable prices. Many thanks to Dave & Sarah for looking after us all.
Beautiful meal here tonight! I’m really fussy with steak but it was so tender! Would recommend definitely! All three of us enjoyed our meals in lovely surroundings

Had a holiday home at Camber for nearly a decade, normally used pubs and restaurants locally. Thought we would try somewhere different today. We have two severely autistic children so difficult for them to adapt sometimes but the pub were extremely accommodating from start to finish. We booked at 9.30am and arrived at 12.30. Table reserved and shown to table. Ordered food and drink and nothing disappoints about this place. The food was delicious and reasonable on price. The service was amazing and you are made to feel very welcome. The atmosphere is friendly and the locals were extremely friendly also. The pub is well kept and maintained.
We were asked on a few occasions if everything was ok and all requests were dealt with immediately with a smile. I really was impressed with the staff, makes a nice change to have enthusiastic staff with brilliant training and attitudes. This pub is a real credit to the village and the area and really sets the standard.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch out and we will be going again for certain. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to visit. You won’t be disappointed.
