Spent a week in IOW in the summer of 2022 and couldn’t for the life of me get good food - that is until the last night where I had the best meal I’ve come across in Britain thus far.
Local produce and brilliant cooking, can not wait to visit again.

Excellent friendly service with great food. We had the wine-paired tasting menu and we could not choose a favourite dish as everything was very tasty. Stand-out was the morelle mushrooms and leeks, and the pork belly with chorizo jam. Highly recommended.
great restaurant with a fantastic menu show casing some of the islands best produce.
Would highly recommend, we dined a la carte, but I'd love to try the tasting menu next time!
We had the 7-course meal; service was excellent. Food was good but not quite at the level of 5 stars. If I visit IoW again, I might visit again but I would order from the menu.
Chef and was kind approachable and obviously talented as was sous chef . food was wonderful staff courteous and professional

An excellent experience from start to finish, drinks in the lounge were excellent and served by polite and courteous staff. Restaurant experience was first class and would highly recommend. It is clear why they are so highly regarded.
Heron has one of the highest ratings I've seen in Google for anything, ever - last night 4 or us went to see just how good it is and I'm pleased to say it offers an absolutely excellent fine dining experience, right up there with many restaurants with Michelin stars and I've no hesitation in giving
