Absolutely fabulous from the time you walk through the door. Host is authentically dressed and this definitely sets the scene for a fantastic meal. The service was outstanding. The food was delicious and good sized portions. Quite affordable too. The place was packed and people continued to stream in all night. If you are looking for a good Indian meal look no further!

London prices for food that tastes good but not amazingly so. Staff don't smile except for the owner. Would go back if I was desperate for a curry but not before trying out other curry houses in Southampton.

Came with a friend Lamb rogan josh & Chick jalfrezi mains. Chicken Chat starter Bombay Aloo + Garlic Nan side. The food flavour was very good the nan bread wasn't the usual type and it was more like a flat bread I was a bit confused. Jalfrezi was the heat I expected i did inquire if they did a Phall but was told the didn't.

This is the best indian cuisine I have ever tried so far. The chicken tikka jalfrezey is spicy in the most delicious way. The garlic and Pechwari nans are to die for. The lady room door is bit hard to open. Attentive staffs, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Took my family out for an Indian meal. Good portions, delicious food pleasant staff. Unfortunately the aircon was a bit to high. They did turn it off for a while as I was going home to get a cardigan.

Excellent food, very extensive menu with many styles of Indian cuisine. I consider myself a connoisseur of Indian food and this is really good. We started with lamb tikka followed by Coriander Chicken and Lamb Chettinad with mushroom fried rice and chappati. Nice, cozy atmosphere. One knock is staff is very robotic and not interactive. This is my second visit (first time was 5 years ago). Definitely worth going. Make a reservation and it gets busier as night goes on.

Visited for wife's birthday, booked table at 1830 and the place is already packed. We were shown to our table and given menus, less than 5 minutes and the drinks came, we ordered and thankfully it was a little time before the mains which gave us time to munch poppadoms & chutney. Wife had Lamb & I had a Rabbit curry, all fantastic. Good value all round. Advise, make sure you book in advance it doesn't stop.

To be honest, the best Indian restaurant in Southampton. They are always busy better to reserve in advance. If you love curry and spicy food this is your place. Food might take some time to come but the wait is worth it when you have the first taste.
