My boyfriend and I came here at 8:00am on a Sunday - the fact that they were even OPEN at this time already made us really appreciate the restaurant. We were served instantly with very friendly faces. I don't eat milk, and they not only had options for me (which is rare), but they also went out of their way to accommodate my restriction as much as possible. The food was served quickly and warmly. The food was absolutely AMAZING. We had a small chat with the workers (seemed to be the owners) afterwards, and they were absolutely lovely. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the Isle of Wight :)
What a gorgeous place to eat really friendly staff food was amazing and such good value for money I was very stuffed
Amazing Brekkies , kids well looked after , lovely relaxing atmosphere, lovely & fresh !

Fantastic breakfast to be had here... we loved it.
Had a really nice full English breakfast this morning in Cowes.
Had a 10/10 proper English breakfast. Was gorgeous and reasonably priced. Had a lovely view and the staff were great, really friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.
Great little cafe. Freshly cooked breakfast which tasted fabulous. Lovely staff too.
Delicious hot chocolate and looks like they have some fantastic other menu items too. Hoping to come back to try their Eegonormous Burger or 555 Challenge breakfast.
Spotlessly clean. Superb ingredients. Very nice people. All with a great view. Nothing else to say, other than highly recommended.
They were closing early due to weather/lack of customers..so we had a pancake each & a hot drink. A basic cafe, no frills; it's on the 1st floor so not good for anyone who struggles with stairs.. but friendly, clean, quick..and a rare sea view over & between rooftops. Possibly the least expensive eating place in Cowes.
I love Eegons Café with a passion, it's not a fine dining experience, but the atmosphere and people who run it are a delight. We are always made to feel welcome, breakfast is delicious and is served right through until 13:00pm.
The best way I can describe Eegons, is going round your parents for a traditional English breakfast. They treat you like family, happy to have a laugh with you and don't judge you for ordering a vege breakfast with bacon in your comfy clothes (It had been a day).
Breakfast price also includes a hot drink or cold drink of choice (tea, coffee, orange juice, apple juice) and really drives the value for your money.
They have food challenges available such as 5 of everything and a leader board of who has managed it.
Breakfast is not all, as they provide lunch options, pancakes, sandwiches, lasagna, mac and cheese, burgers, cheesy chips and more.
All in all, if want breakfast, or brunch or lunch, there's not another place I'd consider.
The location is not what we expected but the food was very good, clean environment, dog friendly and really friendly staff. If your after a good English breakfast i would recommend Eagons cafe.
Nice little café with basic reasonably priced food, just right for lunch
Friendly staff
I liked breakfast, eggs were fantastic, sausage could be better. Nice little Caffe which could be nicer if it would have some music to make some atmosphere. I felt a bit weird and not comfortable to speak in such a quiet place, like intruder in someone's house. Staff and locals were chatting and we could hear every single word. We left very quickly, says enough I didn't even use restroom, me! :)
Great family run business great food and great service extremely friendly and good value
Outstanding lovely breakfasts prompt service and a good laugh
Love this place, great food and lovely owners
Back on the island from Australia to see family and in desperate need of a good old English breakfast. We knew we were in the right place when we were greeted by a cheerful hello and the sight of happy blokes tucking in to plates full of steaming hot, unpretentious food.
Hubby, I and 14 year old daughter all devoured our autumn special for 9 quid….egg, bacon, snags, beans, hash brown, toast and fried bread…washed down with a good coffee (apple juice for her).
Don’t expect frills or smashed avo on toast, just friendly prompt service, simple honest food and great value for money…river glimpses out the window a bonus.
Meant to take a photo but we were too busy eating!
Great service, staff very helpful and nice atmosphere 👍
Nice to see that people had their dogs inside. Obviously not at the tables. Well worth a visit excellent food
Very nice & really filling. The bonanza breakfast. 2 of everything 😄😋
I have been waiting 2 years to go to Eegons due to COVID flight cancellations and rescheduling of our vacation. Saw the reviews from the old location and was very eager to try out their big breakfast, the 'Breakfast Bonanza'.
Cooked well, tasted great and well worth the wait. I wish they did tea by the pot though...
New location is above the Legion and was easy to find. Loved it 😁
Best breakfast anywhere. Always try to fit in 2 or 3 visits when we are on the island. Staff are great and it is dog friendly.
