I have not stopped thinking about this hotel since my stay 2 summers ago. Coming from the United States with family to explore our Scottish heritage, this was the highlight of my trip. Skye is one of those magical places that cannot be described in words. You have to experience it. The hotel view takes your breath away. The staff is very friendly. The Hotel itself has such character and charm. The decorative style was both old and new combined- so attractive and cozy. The food was beyond amazing. I've never tasted locally caught salmon like this. The breakfast was amazing. My cousin and I think a family reunion at the Flodigarry Hotel should be a priority in the future.
Schon alleine die Lage des Hotels - Location, Location, Location!
Scheinbar am Ende der Welt, am (fast) äußersten Ende der Isle of Skye, liegt das Hotel sehr nahe am Wasser. Eingebettet in eine Parklandschaft steht auch das Flora MacDonald Cottage aus dem Jahr 1745. Dort hatte ich ein kleines Zimmer mit außerordentlichem Flair. Die angegebene Raumhöhe von 1,80 m, die auch in der Zimmerbeschreibung aufgeführt ist, lies mich trotz 1,81 m Körpergröße normal aufrecht stehen. Den freundlichen und immer hilfsbereiten Service und die exzellente Küche darf man nicht vergessen zu erwähnen. Einen besonderen Dank an Silke aus Regensburg, die immer sehr hilfsbereit war und jederzeit ein nettes Wort übrig hatte. Der Entschluss ausgerechnet diese Hotel für meinen Besuch auf Skye auszuwählen hat sich in jeder Hinsicht gelohnt.
The best for me so far.Stunning view and beautifully hotel.We had a really great dinner night.The food was so delicious.Many compliments to the chefs.The staff and the owners were so charming and the service was excellent.Many thanks to Hector, Sam, Hazel. They made our dinner very memorable.

What a special place! The hotel and location are beautiful and the renovations are stunning. We had a gorgeous lunch - Cullen skink and crab claws were delicious and the children devoured the beef. The staff and owners were really welcoming and we had a quick prep at the rooms - I hope to stay longer next time!
Decided to make an extra journey to stay here and we were definitely not disappointed! Beautiful setting, top class food and the best customer service we've ever received at a hotel! The view from our bedroom was breath taking. Looking forward to our next visit.
My wife and I spent 2 nights here for our honeymoon and it was THE BEST experience staying anywhere I've ever had. The scenery will drop you to your knees. The staff are some of the most friendly and professional people you'll ever meet. We had the garden cottage and were greeted with champagne, chocolates and a lovely letter from the whole crew. If you're making the trip to Skye you have to stay here. No question. If I could give this a higher rating I would. Thanks to the Flodigarry staff, we will be back!
It was fantastic cooking our own breakfast was a breeze bunks and rooms were great beaut view peace hotel Scottish next door Very friendly people rest ful plenty. Walking. Paths what more. Do you want fantastic place and holiday Thank you all had a ball.
Stayed at this hotel last night & didn't want to leave...tried to get a monthly rate to live there 😂 We got upgraded & stayed in room 4 with a four poster bed & a stunning view out the window! Can't wait to stay there again...only for longer next time!
We've been here 5-nights and sadly must leave in the morning. Very clean rooms. Super friendly staff great location. This has now become our go to home away from home while visiting in the Isle of Skye.
