I had The Works breakfast yesterday. Great quality produce, freshly cooked, not greasy at all, plenty of it and service was really good. Would definitely recommend going here if you want good food and service at reasonable prices

This is without any doubt the best breakfast venue in Portree! In the past I have also sampled many other items on their menu...all are excellent too! Although the Red Brick could quite easily change their cafe they have obviously chosen to remain true to traditional fare and provide the best food and service at decent prices to their customers. Thanks to all their staff! Fabulous! Btw....its not an English breakfast as the recommended dishes section implies....its Scottish.... thankfully!

What a find! Best place to get a proper, no fuss breakfast. Feels very homely and laid back. The staff is lovely as well. Surprisingly, very good vegetarian/vegan selection!

Odd location within a hardware store in a light industrial area, but worth seeking out! The cafe is in the front but the entrance and parking are in the rear. Staff were lovely and always cleaning when they weren't serving. Food was generous and delicious, right down to the hearty bread. Fun and stylish decor. Would come here again in a heartbeat.

This was the only place open when we were in Skye for breakfast. And it wasn't bad. The eggs on toast were great and the the works was pretty good. Just a note for tourist. You order at the register. They do not do table service. And yes it is in the back of a hardware store. But who cares!

They had great vegan options here. We were so grateful for such a great breakfast. Would absolutely go out of our way to come back here. The staff there was very happy

Food was lots of it. Was very filling. Maybe a little too much. I enjoyed it nevertheless. Took away 2 cakes too. The girl at the time I assumed she was new or maybe just very nervous. But she was polite. The window we were sat at, had lots of dead insects...not just 1 days worth, seemed it hadn't been dusted in a while too. Overall would come back again for a hearty breakfast if I was nearby again.

A great cafe just outside of the busy summer downtown of Portree. We stopped in for lunch and then breakfast the next morning.

The sandwich of the day today was Cajun chicken which came with a red lettuce coleslaw (didn’t taste like it was just made with salad cream so was a very nice texture and flavour), a side salad dressed with a vinaigrette and about 10 plain tortilla chips. I was very pleased with this and went away satisfied.

1st time visiting here for Breakfast, both myself and my husband had the big cooked breakfast, it was delicious. Worth the 40 minute wait!

Very nice place with very nice food. There is a charger station so you can charge your electronics. The staff are very nice. The seats and couch are comfy. The place has a plant menu and a kids menu.

Food was very delicious and latte was perfect. One of the two staff members I delt with was excellent, other girl wasn't so friendly and welcoming, but we all got those days, don't we :) I had Cajun Caravan with gluten free bread and decaffeinated latte with barista oat milk.

A great find for breakfast just outside Portree. Satnav was correct, but easily missed, as it's tucked in at the back of a huge department store selling everything from household furniture to machine tool hire. wide breakfast selection in a simple, clean cafe, with friendly staff, and good WiFi, under a display of old and new bicycles!

Great little cafe. Good selection of meals. However it was not for me as most of the dishes had gluten and dairy, with no option to request otherwise. Good coffee!

Good value cafe close to Portree centre. Lots of traditional and vegetarian options. Banana pancakes and haggis breakfast rolls were good.
