Chesil Chippie - Isle of Portland - Photo album

Just THE best vegan fish and chips around. Loads of different vegan options but the banana blossom ‘fish’ is a must try - excellent value as well.
Some of the best fish & chips we've had for quite a while. Beautiful batter on the cod and loads of very tasty chips. Each portion individually boxed with a wedge of lemon. Great online ordering from the website and ready on time, with a prompt email to confirm. Can't beat good fish & chips in a coa
We were so excited to find vegan fish & chips and it didn’t disappoint! We got the vegan fish and vegan nuggets and they were so tasty and quick service - will be coming back!
We tried Chesil Chippie for the 1st time yesterday, it was what my son wanted at the occasion of his birthday. Mostly we all had the lighter option fish & chips and it was very nice, the batter was lightly seasoned and not greasy, just lovely. There was a big chunk of lemon to accompany the fish and
Great fish and chips, batter was crispy and not oily at all. Mushy peas delicious. Good vfm and ordering and paying through the app was simple. Would definitely recommend
Portions a bit too big served a little grumpy but incredible selection of vegan options. Tempura samphire was a little chewy but very much enjoyed my cod bites. But I would leave the selection of sauces and stick with Heinz. All in all very good.
They have vegan options in 2019 that are great! Their "fish" is made with banana blossom and seaweed, which is my favourite, most fish-like vegan version. The mushrooms are heaven and the samphire is an authentic salty taste of the sea.
Always great good, and some interesting sides for a fish and chip shop! They also do gluten free. Love to eat their fish n chips on the nearby beach!
Very yummy food, had pre ordered and paid well in advance as we knew we wanted to go here so there was a very short wait for the food despite the constant line out of the shop. I had the vegan fish and ship and battered sausage and my partner had meat/fish version. Also had curry and tartar sauce! A
Chesil Chippie! Wow! We had to visit after seeing some great reviews and some word of mouth conversations. They have some great options for gluten free and vegan customers. We went for both, gluten free batter and the vegan calamari. We've never had gluten free batter like this before, normally the
Do you want excellent takeaway fish and chips? If so this is the place service good or order online. If there is a problem then it is finding somewhere to park, but it is worth it.
Some of the best fish and chips I have eaten. Not overpriced and a very good selection of fish is available. It is take away only, but you can cross the road and sit on the stone beach on a nice day or evening and eat whilst watching the sun go down. Well worth a visit.
Found this place by accident.......but what a treat My partner and I have dietary requirements and the proprietor was very helpful with gluten free batter for the fish and curry sauce!! Amazing food and serve many lovely adaptions in vegan and gluten-free We will visit every time we go to Portland W
Not one to leave reviews in fact I think this is my first and I would just like to say wow I had the cod a chips and omg the cod was fantastic perfectly cooked soft and flaky and the batter was light and full of flavor and NOT drowned in oil. would definitely recommend if I could give 10 starts I w
Great vegan fish and chips. Had a great evening eating these on Chesil Beach whilst watching the sun go down.
I was starving and drove a way to this chippy hoping it was open. We dad fish cake, a battered sausage and a plain sausage and chips and curry sauce. I so wish I had fish and chips now cause the chips were really good, I loved the batter too. Loved the curry sauce and whilst I'd say its not quite tr
