What an amazing place! Food was delicious, set up is incredible and owner/staff is so friendly.
We visited Taste of Mull twice, can highly recommend. Look out for the sign on the road going into Salen, owners really nice, food brill, Fish and chips a must and Venison burger really lovely, especially when you add cheese and onions, also had the beefburger just as good. Specials on daily, price
Very, very friendly and helpful people! Our boattrip was cancelled, and when I told them. They took the phone and did e call. Thanks a lot! And very delicious vegan balls:)
Had good chats with the proprieter Tim. He'll be pleased to know I've scoped out the Woolly Mammoth Reintroduction Programme for Roundhay Park. Looking forward to this venture! Great food! Mark Taylor Hutchinson (Sidmouth)
Off the beaten track, so eyes peeled as you enter Salen. Please visit! It's such a lovely experience and the owners were great. 2 mins from pennygown campsite. Covid procedures were spot on. Sitting watching the sea with food from The Taste of Mull is a memorable moment for us. This is NOT a greasy
Called twice during our visit to Mull- lovely fish and chips cooked while we waited. Would recommend
Brilliant food, our favourite is the Scottish burger with haggis 😋 wonderful owners who are very friendly 😊
Cracking little spot, serving great takeaway food. Recommend the Mixed Chicken Box. Owners always very friendly and great to have a chat with
We only managed to get food from here once while we were on Mull but it was really lovely and we’d highly recommend stopping in by. The shop is open 5.30 - 7.30 pm and down a wee side street In Salen. The staff are friendly and the fish was huge and affa fine.
The best curry I've had. King Prawn. Beats other curry restaurants
An absolute must eat when visiting Mull! Owners are very warm and welcoming, situated on a side street outside with a lovely fire burning it has a warm homey feel to it. I had the Scottish Burger which is venison and Haggis, it was exceptional. I would highly recommend anyone to eat here.
Wonderful hidden eatery, alfresco style with a fire to keep you warm and the midges away. Amasing stop off! (May need to prebook)
This place is amazing! Great quality island food! We had fish and chips & burgers. Be sure to get your order in before lunch time as they are very busy- understandably so. Great quirky place to sit and eat your food next to the fire - characteristic and cosy! Highly recommend!!
Visited here last night for takeaway fish and chips. Didn't realise I was supposed to pre-order, but the lovely people did them while I waited. I've got to be honest and say that we drove round as a drive past the other day and we weren't sure of the place. It's a weird looking set up when you first
Very tasty fish and chips & sausage and chips ate by the fire before we caught the ferry. Very friendly and helpful too. We didn't know but you need to pre-book. There's a small car park next door for pick ups.
Definitely worth a visit. We didn't realise that we needed to book beforehand and they very kindly stayed open a little bit later for us so we could experience their food. Best fish ever, the batter was perfect (my travelling partners review). And the chips were also great. I'm a Vege so I had their
Hidden gem, just off the main road Lovely fresh homemade venison burger and chips, was lovely
We wanted some quick food to go and we got a burger and hotdog which we enjoyed. The owner told us that he uses local products, meat from local abattoir and local cheese.
