A lovely lunch enjoyed in the fresh, bright surroundings, with lovely views and served by fantastic staff. Menu is small but perfect for me (see photo!). Locally baked cakes are amazing too. Added bonus was option of a wine with lunch 🍷👌

We came across this little gem on our 2nd day of our holiday, with the most beautiful views. We were lucky enough to get there just before they stopped serving for lunch and the staff warmly greeted my husband, myself and our pooch. We ordered the halloumi salad and the beef chilli on dirty fries - my husband was the first to try the dirty fries and the staff welcomed feedback on it. Both dishes were delicious and the portions were generous. We were made to feel so welcome and would definitely return!!

Two visits in one day. Delighted to find the centre, find some information and maps, and enjoy some well earned tea and cake after morning walk. Cake selection was impressive and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. Staff really friendly and chatty, gave us some ideas for the afternoon. Fortunate to book a slot for Friday night fish and chips, which we collected at our allotted time. Impressive portions and lovely crispy fish, and chips. End to a perfect day on Luing.

Delicious home made soup in lovely setting. Best, and maybe only, place to eat on Luing. Langoustines look fabulous. Outdoor eating space.

We visit the Oban area virtually every year so we have done most of the usual tourist traps. This year we decided to try something new and took the short ferry ride over and visit this little visitor centre. The welcome was the warmest we had ever had and although the cafe was having a locals get together we were invited in to join them. Soup and sandwiches and cakes with a cup of tea. The cost well you simply made a contribution. It was up to you how much you paid. Awesome. We will definitely come here again.

Worth the ferry trip alone. Small friendly cafe, shop and heritage centre all in one modern building. Had a light lunch, tea and cake. And what a beautiful location!

Staff from the local community make delicious cakes and the centre is a real focus for the community and visitors. Hours are quite limited but great for lunch on a short island visit

The staff and food were both exceptional. Friendly, helpful and accommodating and all with good humour and a smile. The museum and shop parts were small but interesting but as a resource it makes visiting Luing and Cullipool all the better. Fantastic.
