Thanks to all the staff for the great food and service. Everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The fish and chips was the best I have ever had. We hope to return to Jura in the not too distant future

Great bunch of staff, good conversations and excellent food. Club sandwich should not be underestimated, it was huge and excellent quality however it defeated me!

Had a great brunch before our tour at Jura Distillery. One of the best veggie breakfasts I've had in a long time, possibly ever. Lassie serving was lovely, good communication and service was quick. Would definitely be making a point of going again next time we're on the island.

This is a fabulous place to visit on Jura. Not in any way historical but my goodness, the grub is good! As was the service- we had the pleasure of meeting Andy who catered for 2 hungry adults, a couple of grumpy kids & a labrador puppy (who was given doggy ice cream). We opted for a full English brekkie (which comes in 3 different sizes - the largest of which needs an aspirin as a side). A variety of freshly baked cakes are available and for these alone, worth the visit. There is also a fine selection of ice cream available and these looked mighty fine (alas, the full English took care of any tummy room so we didn't partake). A welcome display of local arts & crafts are on display & available for purchase. Outdoor seating is available with the customary view of the main harbour. Conveniently located just off the main road, walking distance from all other buildings. 4 stars not 5 as its a wee bit on the pricey side. But we'd gladly go again. For cake. Or maybe ice cream. Maybe both

Glad we ignored the negative reviews - while admittedly the service and atmosphere can be a little rough around the edges, it isn't reason enough to skip this gem of a bistro that serves venison from Jura along with fresh seafood. (Venison Burger with black pudding and blue cheese - how can you not!?) No liquor license at the moment but no problem, save the calories for some ice cream after dinner.🍨 Given the issues with kitchen staffing at the Jura Hotel this is a great alternative for lunch or dinner.

Nice food and location, however the guy in the back (I think he was the chef) could do with improving his manners. You can only act like Gordon Ramsay if you are Gordon Ramsay, and even then it's hit or miss. Apart from that, a nice experience, I would recommend the burger.

We had lunch here yesterday. Having read previous reviews we thought we'd give it a try. We had haddock, chips and mushy peas, it was delicious, best batter we've had in a very long time. The serving was quite large, I couldn't eat all mine. Give it a go you won't be disappointed.

A lovely warm Jura welcome at The Antlers Bistro. We called in for coffee and cake. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The Antlers Bistro was clean, tidy and cosy. It at a homely feel to it, like I had been there before. It's great as it opens at 8am so it a great first stop to explorer the lovely Jura. Enjoy!

Dropped in on a Saturday evening, found out we should have booked, but they were happy to let us stay and eat anyway. Both had venison burgers, really decent sized portions, nice food. Came back the following morning for scrambled eggs which were eggcellent.
