A great find, just off the ferry we visited Ambience on a Saturday afternoon. We were a group of four, including 3 people looking for vegan options and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the vegan chilli special, and Chef made a special vegan pizza for us. Ambience get's a big thumbs up from us, and we loved the records that were playing. If you are in Rothesay and looking for good quality food, or just a cup of coffee be sure to visit Ambience!
I have a difficult diet and I found them more accommodating than I could have hoped for. Beautiful freshly prepared food which is value for money. Relaxing atmosphere and really pleasant staff. Would certainly recommend
Great friendly warm welcome, great coffee, even better food, and the eclectic vinyl record collection you can have played on the sound system. Extremelly great value. Did I mention the friendly welcome?

I was in on Saturday for some takeaway cake and scones. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. My husband inhaled the cake it was very good and the scones were delicious. Good luck for the future, we will definitely be back �
First class takeaway soup and sandwich for lunch today, probably the best coleslaw on Bute.
Chilli Con Carne with baked potato was amazing and salad was so tasty. Will be back especially for coffee with fleetwood mac in the background!

I had the pleasure of dining at Ambience restaurant in Isle Of Bute recently and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish we tried bursting with flavor and expertly prepared with fresh ingredients. The menu offered a great range of options to suit different dietary needs and preferences, and I was impressed by the quality of every dish we ordered.
The atmosphere at Ambience was just perfect - cozy and inviting, with a great vibe that made us feel right at home. The decor was stylish and modern, and the overall ambiance was relaxing and enjoyable. It was the perfect place to catch up with friends and family over a meal.
But what really stood out was the fantastic service we received, especially from the young girl Anna who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience. She was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, and really helped to make our meal special.
To top it all off, the desserts at Ambience were stunning - beautifully presented and just as delicious as they looked. The homemade ice-cream was a particular highlight, and we were impressed to learn that all the food was freshly prepared in the kitchen.
Lastly, I have to mention the team of Polish people working at Ambience. They were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it was clear that they take pride in their work and the quality of the food and service they provide.
Overall, I would highly recommend Ambience restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The food, atmosphere, and service are all top-notch, and I can't wait to go back again soon!

This is the best place to eat in Rothesay. It has a casual, friendly atmosphere and the food is wonderfully cooked with a great menu choice. The Chef is Polish, so often there are some gems from his home country to try. However, it is not just the amazing food and atmosphere that are fab, the service is amazing. The waitress treats you as if she has known you forever and nothing is too much trouble.
Great place for a lunch break, serve alcohol too. Good atmosphere friendly staff and great food.
I can't overstate how amazing the food was in here. We were a party of 4 and all ordered something different and everyone loved what they ordered. I ordered the Philly steak panini and it was better than I'd had in America. Service was outstanding and the girl was really friendly and accommodating as we had a pram with us. Will definitely be back!

The Ambience is a hidden gem. Variety to choose from on their menu. Great service, tasty, home made food. I'll definitely visit again!
Excellent lunch, served by helpful staff. I had the Greek style Haddock. Very nice. Wife had Sea Bass which she enjoyed.
The food was very good with fast and friendly service. Dogs are welcome which was a bonus. Worth booking ahead as was busy when we there. Definitely try the bubble croffles - they were amazing!
Great location in Rothesay, just in for drinks but plenty of choice on the specials menu for food, great hot chocolate a hit with the kids, will be back for food next time, lovely relaxing place to sit xx
