Fabulous day spent on Vatersay with beaches from the movies. Go and see for yourselves. Had some lunch in the cafe. Beautiful soup and sandwich combo, with lovely friendly staff. Enjoy.

Lovely community run cafe. Staff are friendly. We had coffee and bought sandwiches for a takeaway lunch . Filling was fine but the bread is white sliced - terrible stuff. Pity they do not make their own bread.

Nice well presented cafe serving good wholesome food at a reasonable price. Good toilet and shower facilities , start of the Hebridean cycle route, good photo opportunity to be had.

Sat in with my family, lovely lunch. The place is very reasonably priced as well. The cakes are great but save some room as they are big slices, not that I was complaining 🙂

Lovely we place but be warned its busy so getting a table is hard. Staff brilliant, cakes just to die for and main food is perfect. Plain, simple, decent price and lovely food.

Start of the Hebridean way…..great location to camp or just pop buy!

Great that they provide basic facilities (toilet, shower and sink) for those camping nearby. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly locally who was very helpful and advised us where was best to camp. Facilities were cleaned daily and were will kept. There is an honesty box for donations

We camped here recently. Were blown away by the incredible location. Showers and toilets were clean and convenient. Highly recommend

Not only was the food amazing but the staff were lovely it's all communal. they do not take card payments due to lack of WiFi, the position of it is great there are two beaches within about a 5 minute walk (picture below is the Loch facing beach) I will go back here again.

Great community facility with cafe, WC and showers. It has designated spots for overnight camping and a £10 honestly box. However a local man told me lots of people stay and don't pay- come on people its £10, pay up!!! Vatersay has the most stunning beaches I've ever visited.
