The Champagne Afternoon tea served as a special birthday treat for my Mum, and ensuring she had a delightful time was my top priority. I'm thrilled to say that she thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite the bustling and well-loved location in the heart of the city, catering to both tourists and locals, we never felt hurried to leave. The sandwiches were simple but delightful, and the kind server (whose name slipped my mind) accommodated a small change for my Mum, who isn't fond of smoked salmon. The scones were freshly baked, the homemade jam was a nice touch, and the Lemon Meringue and Cheesecake were fantastic. The attentive staff made sure every part of our experience at the Willow Tea Room was a friendly one. From walking in the busy reception to being seated practically straight away for our reservation. The girls who served us and the other staff members we came across were so friendly, a true testament to the Willow Tea Rooms & they deserve a raise. Overall, it was a perfect 10/10 experience.

Great bargain! The Savoury Afternoon tea is really good: the cheese scone and savoury treats are really tasty! The traditional Afternoon tea is really nice too and quite plentiful even though the sweet scone was a little stale to my taste! Sorry I don’t want to be mean or anything but that’s how I felt it! The service was really great though and the waitresses were lovely and welcoming! Highly recommended!

We booked afternoon tea on a Sunday just before lunchtime, it was very busy so would recommend booking if you're planning to drop in on a weekend. We had the traditional and savoury afternoon tea, and they were delicious, fresh and a great value for money. The atmosphere was great, we had one of the window bench tables and the service was quick and pleasant. Recommend visiting as they do all day afternoon tea which you can't find in many places, the strawberry tart was also delicious and you can pick a cake as part of the traditional tea, the savoury comes with a selection of coronation chicken puff pastry, haggis cracker, sausage roll slice and mini quiche.

Little café on the first floor right at Buchanan Street. Usual coffees/teas available, brunch/lunch options and high tea. Cakes & shortbread available as well. Reservation probably recommended for weekends. Staff very friendly. Only minus for me was that the interior wasn’t as cosy as I had expected for a tea room but that is personal preference.

Great choice for a traditional Scottish breakfast at a very traditional place. 100% recommend. For food and the experience. Better book in advance. Very friendly staff. Reasonable prices and good portions.

This is the first time I visit Glasgow and I decided to try the afternoon tea. Google showed this place as highly rated and it wasn't wrong choice. The place is a little bit small but great, the staff are active and quick in their service . The afternoon tea was a delicious experience for me and it won't be last for sure.

Lucky to get seated at the end of a busy day, on the 2nd Floor dining room. The strawberry tart, champagne & green tea were delicious. If you have more of an appetite, the full afternoon tea can be prebooked. Fyi The original Tea Room, designed by Rennie Mackintosh, is on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.

A lovely English traditional afternoon tea experience with impeccable service. It is a bit of a climb up all the stairs so probably not suited for the elderly, or those with prams. Really excellent coffee with a generous sized serving of cake. Highly recommended.

A lovely tea room. I love Macintosh, so I was really happy to go there. I ordered Chinese black tea and a sourdough avocado toast. Lovely. The blond lady serving us was very kind.

Food was good, the Lemon Meringue Pie was amazing. Very good tea as well. Friendly and helpful staff. Some prices are maybe a bit too high (8£ for toast with avocado and nothing else).

Exemplary service, beverages, and food. I love that they have soymilk (and other nondairy options too). I’d love to know where I can buy the chocolate used in the hot chocolate, because that was hands-down the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had! It was so dark and rich but not bitter! Loved the flavor profile! Excellent tea-selection. Great gift shop and location! Hope I can come back someday :-).
