Jed and Dot, the host and hostess immaculate, have done wonders with the place. A steady hand and a unerring eye for detail. If they were animal pair, they would be a panda and white seal. The ambience is irresistible and the courgette cheddar soda bread is to die for.
Wonderful Sunday roast! Service was lovely and friendly even though there was a large group in there- it didn’t show on the service. Quaint little place in a quiet area. The only downside was that they only had two ales, both bitter, not my cuppa but the food on its own makes it worth a visit anyway
Came here for my birthday. The staff went the extra mile by adding a candle in my cake, found custard for my dad and handled food intolerances amazingly. The food was great! The atmosphere is nice. Lovely place
I shouldn't be writing this review because it will only make it worse for myself. We always go on a Tuesday for pie and a pint for £8. All home cooked food including the desserts. It used to be quieter but gets very busy now and you have to be early or the choice is limited from around 7 to just a
We had an absolutely wonderful time in this pub! the lady that served us, Donna I believe, who i presume must be the bar manager was fantastic! She served us fast and efficiently and we had a lovely chat. I would highly recommend this pub and ask for Donna if you want the best service :)
I went there with my family aged 12 to 76 . The menu had very good choices of starters mains and desserts. The food was beautifully cooked.
The service was excellent, friendly but not overbearing or hurried. The pub is a very clean quaint old English pub with nooks and crannies.
My brother and son
Fantastic food! Home cooked and different. Not your usual pub fare. Friendly staff and great choice of drinks.
Beautiful Cajun chicken tonight, brilliant atmosphere and great food all round. Would definitely recommend and will be back to try the Sunday roasts as well
Always a great place to eat, great food and helpful staff. If in Ironbridge I recommend you make your way up the hill to this place. BTW I almost never give 5 stars.
Very warm welcome and the food was great with a good range for vegetarian. The pie was very tasty and overall a pleasant meal
Friendly staff and gorgeous food. Definitely recommend
Fantastic service as always and the finest quality food, all at very reasonable prices. I would seriously reccomed this place.
Fantastic little gem hidden away from the overpriced bars and eateries on Ironbridge’s wharfage.
Very cosy, very idyllic, and fantastic food with a well stocked bar and award-winning pies.
Excellent home cooked food and such a lovely pub. We're adding it to our regular visit list...
