Lovely birthday meal for my hubby most of us had beef roast and the beef melted in the mouth whilst the gigantic Yorkies proved a killer to finish! The whitebait starter was delicious as were all others..but the best thing about this place is the wonderful attentive but not intrusive staff.cant praise them enough while the delicious food speaks for itself
I just love this place. I have eaten in the restaurant countless times and never had a bad meal yet. It is a welcoming environment and the place itself is full of charm fabulous food too especially on the taster nights.
After an awful start to the night at another local restaurant the whole staff made our anniversary amazing, from complimentary drinks to begin to amazing service and food, I can’t recommend these guys highly enough, thank you all for a great night�

Our favourite place in Ironbridge. Friendly staff and efficient service. Have always given full marks on the meals...evening dinners are delicious! My husbands favourite pint also here so a regular place to pop in with our dog for a quick drink after evening walks!
Delicious meal one of the best I've had. I had tandoori trout something I've never had before but really want again. Chocolate brownie was Devine overall great experience would highly recommend

Myself and my wife drove into Ironbridge for lunch on Sunday. Parked the car and headed back towards the centre, we had already clocked the eateries and the White Hart was the one which attracted us the most. We loved the place from the moment we stepped through the door, everything about the place was just great, excellent staff, excellent food all thoroughly enjoyed. The White Hart is on our to visit again list, perhaps staying over for a weekend in Ironbridge.
Such a great place, friendly atmosphere, great staff some great beers too. I didn't try the food but it looked great will be doing that on our next visit

What a beautiful place to stay, setting and rooms are great , the staff are friendly and the food is brilliant, hope to visit again next year too on my birthday weekend . John my companion wasn't too bad either ;)
I went here for dinner last week. The food was delicious. I loved the quaint atmosphere and the log burner that was on in the background. Service wasn't all great, and that was purely an unmanned bar, I waited initially to place an order and then I waited well over 5 minutes wanting to pay for the new meal. I found this rather frustrating
Stayed here for 2 nights to visit Ironbridge attractions. Very pleasant stay with excellent breakfast included and also enjoyed a good evening meal. Nice view of the river from our room. One thing I didn't like was that no staff/owner stayed here overnight and no contact number was given for emergencies (apart from 999!).
We booked to have our 6th Anniversary meal here whilst we were visiting Ironbridge and were very pleased with our choice. The food was lovely and the service was superb. Although I think my wife would have preferred it if I wasn't watching the England V Argentina rugby world cup game on my phone whilst we had our meal.
After finishing our meal we sat on the terrace and had a few drinks. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. All in all it was a great evening. Would definitely recommend.

Great pub for a meal or drink. Good service and a wide range of food and drink. They also had live entertainment on the Friday we were there.

It's a good location and the food is honestly priced. It's not fine dining but it's ok and there's something on the menu for most folks.
Happy enough with service, quality and price. You won't, perhaps, be blown away and amazed or astonished ... but nor will you be disappointed 🙂 it's pretty much what you want and expect.

A beautiful clean friendly hotel. Dinner last night Caribbean beef stew excellent and breakfast this morning was superb. Would definitely stay there again.
Surprise Sunday Lunch with my son! Lovely pub. Well designed and decor very nice. Service very good, didn't have to wait too long for our meal, although it was very busy. Food fairly good. Presentation was a bit disappointing, the meat was piled on top of potatoes, mash and leeks. Would've been nicer separated. However, a very tasty meal and dessert. Reasonably priced and would recommend it.
Booked for dinner. My allergy was taken seriously, they told me the braised beef had Worcestershire sauce which had shellfish. It meant quite a limited choice, but the burger I had was well cooked and the fries were good. My husband had the braised beef with mash and kale, which he enjoyed. For dessert I had quite a small piece of sticky toffee pudding and my husband had the local cheese board. I thought the dessert was a bit overpriced however the cheeseboard was very overpriced, small pieces of cheese, a few crackers and frozen grapes. On return home I discovered that Worcestershire Sauce does not have shellfish, just anchovy, a fish
We really enjoyed our stay, great location.
We had to leave the hotel around 6am each morning, so this meant we would miss out on the breakfast. However, the staff made us sandwiches to take with us as breakfast instead. Our room was clean and had everything we needed.
Enjoyed a lovely meal here on a Saturday night - need to book. Really nice - managed to squeeze us in as a walk- in for Sunday lunch at 1445 & it was very enjoyable. Good location.
Great food at reasonable prices, I had the chicken and chorizo main course and it was delicious. My wife had the belly pork and said it was one of the best she's ever had. The meals are definitely better than your standard pub grub.
Food and drinks excellent. Service was second to none especially as it was extremely busy at time of visit.
Great place for a drink and lunch in the sun. The only thing that was lacking was possibly a bit of communication between the kitchen and waitresses as to where the food was to be taken. Great location and service was quick at the bar.
We booked a table and sat outside as it was a lovely day,the staff were very friendly and the food was really delicious .

First visit to this venue with a friend who lives close by for mid week lunch. Nice welcome from staff and service was good. Lunch was tasty, a little overpriced for a plant burger with no extra salad and just a dessert spoonful of coleslaw. They did happily swap fries for handcut chips though which were delicious. Would come again, the outside space and view is lovely.
Next time hopefully we won't have our enjoyment and conversation disturbed by a very loud woman at the neighbouring table. Apparently the chefs could hear her from the kitchen!
We stayed here for 1 night, the room was very comfortable. The food was 1st class would highly recommend. The staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable, what a credit to the business
