Not your average restaurant. Really nice food and excellent service. Parking in Ironbridge is free after 5pm so mo worries there. Not a busy restaurant a great place for an intimate meal. Music Not too loud. Had pleanty of time to choose what o wanted from the menu. Food was cooked perfectly and the space in-between was ideal.
They had a 3 course for £30 which was worth every penny. Overall a fantastic restaurant
Throughly enjoyable meal. After looking at the menus available and having an 11yr old and a 14yr old in tow, we decided that the Sunday lunchtime menu had something for everyone. It did not disappoint. Every dish was varied, presented and cooked to a very high standard. The restaurant was busy and we had to prompt for the butter for the bread, wine that we ordered and extra drinks once or twice, but this didn’t detract from a very pleasant lunch. The scotch egg starter is a treat and I really enjoyed the mackerel. Everyone had the beef and I had the belly pork. All were scrummy. Cheeseboard was nice and wine was good too.
A small restaurant that knows its clientele and delivers very well. This is up there with my fav from the town. Will really look forward to another visit soon.
Second time of visiting, last time was 2014, quality food with good service team. Three courses £38 (Sept 2021) expect to pay a booking deposit as well. The food was excellent and the menu catered for vegetarians, not sure about vegan options. It is a small restaurant with around 8 tables. A popular choice so please book ahead.
Managed to get in early as we had not booked but wow what an amazing meal.. all three courses where beautifully presented delicious and plentiful. The parfait was amazing. Great value too at just over £30 per head including wine and pre drinks.
Thank you all will defo see you again when we visit the area
The menu is interesting and Restaurant Severn delivers on taste and complimentary food arrangements. I had a mackerel scotch egg starter with a mango chutney and curried mayonnaise. My wife had chicken liver parfait with almond bread. My main was pork belly with pear and black pudding. My wife had curried cod with potato and a homemade thick raita. The staff were so friendly and absolutely fantastic. The two ladies were kept best busy all night but were superb. £30 for two courses or £38 for three courses... and worth every penny. A lot has been said about the 10% service charge but the menu states it is discretionary. I always give 10% when a place goes above and beyond, and I was happy to pay. I think unless you had a really bad experience, I honestly feel it would be churlish to remove the service charge. All in all we had a great night and we'd definitely go back again.

Travelled from Spain for a Family birthday , six of us, we booked the private dining room upstairs.
Parking is a little difficult on a Sunday afternoon so allow a little extra time
We had to wait a little before being shown upstairs but the room was perfect for us to enjoy family time in an exclusive environment
Service was excellent, discrete but perfectly attentive. Food menu was presented informatively and honestly ( the beef delivered to the kitchen was Below their usual standard so came with a caution)
The food was excellent and presented beautifully.
A perfect cauliflower soup, smoked mackerel, croquettes were amongst the starter, we all had perfectly cooked pork and all went for a delicious Brad and butter pudding.
Great wine menu which we indulged as befitting the occasion
Thank you all for making an important occasion perfect
Special mention to Deb who ensured that we left happy and replete.
Would definitely recommend the restaurant and, if we were back living in the Uk, would be a regular customer
Excellent service and the most wonderful welcome.
My husband and I enjoyed the beautifully presented and extremely tasty food last night. We are already planning to come back very soon for another romantic night dining here. Thank You to all team at Restaurant Severn you’re doing outstanding food and service ! Best Regards Charlotte & Darren

First visit and well impressed. The 2 front of house girls were v polite and welcoming.
Sunday lunch pricing v reasonable and menu varied. Nice little free taster as we sat down.
I'm the fussiest eater but loved my scotch egg starter. Jane enjoyed her mushrooms. Both had beef. Felt guilty asking for salt(sorry chef) but we do like it salty. Lovely mains and puddings yummy. Well done to all.😀
Food was delicious, absolutely outstanding. Loved everything about our evening. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are superb. Attentive and friendly without being overbearing or invasive.
Highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.
Great food with an option to eat in. Friendly staff, clean and tidy but floor very slippy and difficult to walk on. The kids were sliding all over the place trying to walk to their seats. No Parking.
Stumbled upon this place and the food was amazing service was excellent
The food and service here is simply perfect.
The staff are very well mannered and friendly.
We have already been back, and would return again.
Superb service food amazing. First time iv given 5 stars.
This was the best meal I have eaten since I went to a Gary Rhodes restaurant 20 years ago. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned, beautifully presented by a friendly helpful staff. Book a table you will not regret it. It should have a Michelin star 🌟
I was once a regular diner here, but it's been about 4 years since I last eat here and from looking at the new interior & website I'm assuming the chef/owner/management have changed hands. Fortunately the quality of the food, service and atmosphere hasn't changed and is still of an exceptional standard. Tonight I had the belly pork which was beautifully cooked and well sized. I finished with a simple and perfectly balanced sticky toffee pudding. The staff were very attentive, yet offered plenty of personal space for us to enjoy the evening. The pace of service was just right never feeling rushed or having to wait for our courses. If you're looking for a small intimate restaurant, in a beautiful historical village, with well cooked honest food, but with a fine dining feel then this is the place to come....oh and you'll also be pleasantly surprised by the price. I will definitely return.
