A really homely friendly pub, made to feel very welcome. Meals very large but was able to have a starter with sides as the main meal. Prices reasonable with some items available as buy one get one free, time and day restrictions.
An excellent experience. From the friendly phonecall to book, through the cheerful welcome, the polite service, the perfectly cooked food with the BEST chips I’ve had anywhere in a VERY long time, the attentive but not intrusive waitress we had a thoroughly lovely time. The lunchtime BOGOF menu port
Warm welcome from the friendly bar staff. Seated and served quickly, despite the pub being busy. Great beers and good food. The 2 for 1 meals are a steal. We chose from the specials list and the belly pork with dauphinois potatoes was excellent. I will visit again if in the area.
A quaint old-fashioned English pub. Friendly staff who were pleased to serve. Good range of beers. It has a reputation for good food, through on this visit we only had a couple beers. Well worth a visit.
Great value pub with a range of buy 1 get 1 free choices, lots of outdoor seating in beer garden, friendly staff and well worth a family visit.
Good food (tried vegan Sunday roast) , good service and affordable. Lovely garden to enjoy sun. Excellent location. Will pop by again if cycling through the village.
Great atmosphere, perfect little country pub. Massive outside garden with benched seating area.
Such a nice little pub! Friendly and attentive service, top quality food and decent prices too! And its an independent! That should be enough on its own for you to give them your custom! And they were really dog friendly, Ezra had as good a time as us.. Would recommend.
Always a lovely place to stop mid way through a walk, big harden as well, and the food is always good, especially the Sunday roast.
Great pub, buy 2 get the cheapest meal free good selection of food and good selection of drinks.
Tasty budget friendly. Huge quiet garden. Very popular with regulars and locals
A real local pub and restaurant not part of any corporate chain. The whole bar and resturant area kept immaculately clean. Excellent Sunday roast meal- lean cuts of meats. Good real ale from Cornwall Brewery keeping it all local. 1st class table service. Now with take-away facility as well.

we ate a Sunday lunch here. £15.00 for 2. I had low expectations at that price but was pleasantly surprised. 2 slices of meat, Yorkshire pudding, roast pots, very small amounts of veg. Service was good and friendly. plenty of free parking. All in all would recommend.
I had the braised belly pork which was excellent. Washed down with a couple of Proper Job.
This friendly little pub has a large and sunny beer garden, which also has a covered patio area to the side. On the day we visited there was live music outside. We didn't eat, but the food looked and smelled amazing and the portions were generous (I'm told they often offer 2 for 1 deals too). They h
We were recommended this place by family, and it didn't disappoint. There were 9 of us as part of small family get together. Plus one well behaved pupster! The food portions were generous, and the food was delicious. Early Bird, saved us the best part of 35£, including drinks. Covid-19 restrictions
