Reviews Overwater Hall Hotel Restaurant

We have recently returned from a delightful few days at Overwater Hall. This was to be our third stay here. Our welcome was so genuinely warm that it is just like going home to family but better! Steve, Angela and Adrian are very hospitable from the comfort and cleanliness of the bedrooms complete with the most delicious shortbread I have ever tasted in my entire life, tucked away on the tea and coffee tray together with a small carafe of Adrian's homemade liqueur to lull us to a great night's sleep. The cosines of the drawing room where we often toasted our weary toes by the log fire after a days walking has to be my favourite room in the world. Steve, Angela and their wonderful staff regularly check we have everything we need where we were offered tea and home made biscuits. Dinner at Overwater Hall is a wonder to behold. Not fussy or over rich, just good, wholesome, locally sourced food. Overwater Hall is now a home from home for us and we will visit again very soon. Thank you for being there!
