Very nice spot for a coffee with a sense of grandeur inside and a nice outdoor terrace in good weather. Chance to learn a little while you're there.
Came in just for the café. Did not disappoint! Tasty paninis and cappuccino. Friendly, welcoming staff.
An excellent facility worth visiting. We recently saw the Lego exhibition, but the quality of all the temporary exhibitions is high. Staff and friendly and cafe has great views of the waterfront (and smells of lavender from all the plants. Lovely). Great facility for education, meetings and conferences and the auditorium is world class.
Ipswich's Record Office in a new setting, with an integrated cafe. All the usual research facilities are there and they have exhibitions as well, between the University and Suffolk New College. The most recent exhibition was about Wolsey's life.
"What a great atmosphere". A fresh and inviting way to welcome everyone interested in learning from a exhibition area that changes regularly. A great resource for students. Great staff. Love it so much I'm volunteering.
Nice airy new space for the Ipswich Record Office. The special exhibits are a little underwhelming so not worth travelling to see. But as a space for research this is excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Brick History exhibition is wonderful, lots of lovely details in the models; our grandchildren (7 & 9) loved it. Special thanks to Janet Ball, who was on duty when we visited, for her energy, enthusiasm and knowledge !
Went for a craft session with children. Amazing fun, loads of resources and helpful staff on hand. Coffe from the onsite cafe was delicious
The Lego expeeiance at The Hold is well worth going to, really nice venue and some inspirational Lego builds
