I have to say I was nervous about the food once I read the reviews (which I didn’t do beforehand for some unknown reason!) although I needn’t have worried. The food arrived 5 minutes early, super hot and fresh. It’s all very tender meat and clearly fresh, they even accommodated my request for extra hoisin sauce. The curry sauce could have more flavour but it was thick unlike some reviews I’ve read had said. The chicken skewers and ribs look quite dry from the photos however they weren’t at all. Portions very generous other than the hors d’oeuvres however this being one of the cheaper Chinese takeaways I really can’t complain!
Oh and an edit just to say it’s all cooked perfectly, nothing burnt or undercooked as I’d read on other reviews!
Had take away and it was sooo good! I am vegetarian and I had veg curry with fried rice and my partner is fussy meat eater. He had meat. Delivered very quickly. Good portions. Both of us have been very happy with a quality of the dishes!
Ordered again. Veggie Noodles and Singapore chow and chrispy beef and it was super!
I don’t know why this place has such bad reviews. This is my local Chinese and I order here 1-2 times a month and I’ve never had any issues with the food. All my orders have been correct, hot and really tasty. They also have the lowest prices in Ipswich.
The only issue I have ever had with this place is that it is closed on Mondays (I think) but still shows up as open on ubereats. This means you can still place orders when they are closed, but you’ll never get your food and getting a refund takes a while as ubereats aren’t the most cooperative. I always make sure to check on google to see if they are actually open before I place any orders now. Problem solved!
Overall, I really recommend this place if you want a tasty and affordable meal.
As always great quality!!! As it comes for some people commenting on delivery times below. I am working in delivery business and I know what costumers sometimes want their stuff here and now,but If there is dosens of orders at same time you can't physically do them all at same time. I love this Chinese takeaway place,and ordering from them for over 14 years now. They always had good quality food. Recommended!
Food is good, staff are freindly and helpful. The menu is extensive, with many diffrent disk to fit most tastes. I had a great meal and would order here again with out any hesitation.
I've been using them for years and honestly surprised at the bad reviews. I keep going back, so that's says something. Much higher score on Just Eat for some reason, go figure.
