Chennai Dosa Ipswich - Ipswich - Photo album

We had an amazing experience at Ipswich Chennai Dosa branch on the new year. The food was delicious and was just right when it came to quantity and authenticity. We ate a whooping £50+ food but no regrets at all...
If you are in Ipswich or ever go to Ipswich and crave for 'Authentic' Indian food then Chennai Dosa is your place to be. We had Lamb Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Chicken 65 and Chilli Chicken and everything was perfect.
Good is great, nicest curry I have had. Like most Indian restaurants, so brightly lit that you can see the skeletons of everyone around you, missing roof and wires hanging around in toilets. Also cash only which is a bit annoying in this day and age
Beautiful Dosa. Lovely authentic south Indian food. I will visit again, a true Indian restaurant. It's great.
Authentic south Indian masala dosa available here with sambar and three varieties of chutney. Too good. Truly unbelievable that you get authentic dosa in the UK. It's not just about dosa. There are variety of veg and non veg parathas, Biryani's and many other Indian items on the menu. It's value for
Food is good, and Friendly staff. Decoration is a bit dated. Also menu was sticky and could see fresh oily food marks I was surprised to see its Cash-only restaurant.
South Indian food was amazing and service was great. But payment by cash only was an issue as we didn’t carry any cash . I suggest you guys to carry cash while visiting
Absolute bargain, beautiful food and truly lovely staff. A little slice of India right there in Ipswich. If you’ve ever actually been to India, or want to find out what it’s actually like to eat there, then check this place out. Superb.
The South Indian food here is pretty delicious. Favourite was the fish chukka, it is incredible although a bit on the spicy side. Only thing that isn't great is the actual restaurant interior is a bit shabby although if this doesn't bother you, it didn't detract from the food experience! We will be
This place is not upto the mark ! Ambience needs to be better ! Food was really good though!
Definitely recommend the biryani. Was definitely one of the best biryani I've had here so far.
Better to avoid North Indian dishes and go for South Indian dishes. They are excellent 😋
Authentic taste, sufficient quantity, good quality. Fair prices. Service can be better. Buffet lunch should be made available
