Lovely village pub - atmosphere and food smashing
I moved here one year ago, although I don't drink every week I know what I can expect when I go there.
My first visit was a shock, in a very good way, they were friendly and welcoming, not intrusive but polite and curious.
I don't think I have been in a pub with such open arms, and it's not just the
I visit this pub on a regular basis, as its very welcoming and serves good food and beer. The barmaid Helen is very much on the ball and is very kind and caring. There's regular live music played there and the atmosphere is great.
Since moving to Elmsett we have been to this great pub quite a few times and enjoyed each visit.
Shaun and family are great hosts and make everyone very welcome.
The food menu is expanding and enjoyable. They have themed food evenings, go there on Thursday as they serve the best burgers.
This friendly little pub in beautiful South Suffolk hosted a surprise birthday party for my little wife. They were relaxed, calm and nothing was too much trouble. We all had a lovely time! Thank you Sean, Thank you Ellen!
We have had numerous meals here including bar meals and there fantastic Sunday roast.
All freshly cooked and excellent value . Well worth a visit . Always greeted with a warm welcome .
