I have now been back a second time and the main reason was still there. A beautiful guy called Alex, from the very start he made the experience , such a happy welcome , just to order and from then on I would have gone round again and again. He was was so friendly and cheerful, he made my day. The coffee was good too. We drove 20 miles just to go to the best Costa (drive in) thanx to Alex.
Well.... what can I say! Give the VERY nice VERY handsome chap 😉 with the "B Cups" a raise IMMEDIATELY! What a refreshing change to be greeted so chirpily on the intercom... I expected a full brass band and west end show to burst out of the service door after his wonderful welcome! Service with a smile and a laugh is just what we need in this world. The staff I've encountered twice this week here especially the young man with blond highlights in his hair that I speak of here, have been second to none.... Dont ever stop being amazing and putting your own twist into your work because it works... you certainly made our day and possibly week to be honest 😁 Oh I should add the drinks were spot on but the service is really the talking point here 👌
Always takes really long getting through this. Despite being the only ones in the queue the girl dithered taking our order and after taking our money she started putting crockery away instead of getting our coffees. I said I’ll sit down and come back for them, to which she said she’d bring them over. Anyway another 5-10 mins later a spotty bloke behind the counter announced “2 lattes” and I had to get them myself anyway.
Complete dithery and no sense of urgency from the staff. Reading other reviews I can see others have experienced the same.
Just been through the drive through at this Costa and wanted to comment that the lady who took our order and the guy who gave us our order were so friendly and provided an excellent service. Lovely to see this time of year when things can be so busy!
Good Costa at Martlesham, always get the orders right, always good happy service and they seem to follow procedures well for alternative milks and cooking vegan options. Glad it's just down the road, loving this BOSH collaboration for Veganuary!

Drove through on Sunday 5th Nov at 9am and the girls at the drive through window were so lovely, super friendly and chatting to our daughter. Such a nice start to the day.
