Stunning on a sunny 🌞😎 day overlooking Felixstowe docks and the sea.
The food was delicious served by pleasant friendly staff.
Well worth a visit when in Shotley Gate watching the cargo ships load up in Felixstowe or when waiting for the ferry boat to Harwich. Friendly bar staff and well priced no nonsense food. They also do accommodation but have not tried that yet.
Rode in on the motorbike for the first time. Nice, friendly and good food. Would recommend and will return.
A great place for lunch, with views across the estuary. Great walks along the coast and plenty of benches to sit and watch the boats go by. There is also a passenger ferry to Felixstowe and Harwich.
We had a really good fish and chips, we were seating outside. We ordered a good and tasty craft beer on the tap and a ginger beer. Our friends had two sandwiches (Brown bread and White bread) and it was good as well.
Cider, beer, Juice, Coffee, tea,...
We had a lunch there but also make breakfast.

Always love The Shipwreck!
Great stop off for a drink or 2 after our long walks in Shotley!
Lovely views across to Harwich & Felixstowe docks!
Unfortunately can't comment on food though!
Very impressed with this pub for an impromptu lunch ! Big portions, tasty too 😋 sandwiches and hot food for lunch - also coffees etc. Staff very friendly and sat outside with plenty of seating overlooking the harbour - great to watch the world go by and good dog walking. Free parking right outside.
Food is delicious, and reasonably priced. Menu is currently restricted to certain items, but we still have had a massive burger meal and beautifully cooked salmon. Great spot to have a relaxing walk after your meal accompanied by calming views of Shotley. Parking is not an issue either.
Great setting for tea and cake : also offering breakfast and pub meals seating inside and outside with great views
Had a lovely hot chocolate with all the trimmings and relaxed on a comfortable sofa.
Never had a meal, so only 4 stars.
Excellent, kind staff.
Great New Years Day visit to The Shipwreck.
Nice Brie and Bacon Sandwich and excellent chips.
Friendly helpful service
This place was a good place to visit with friends and family. The food was full of flavour but a bit too oily for me.
The staff were very busy and did well with the service, but to get what was requested was a little slow. The area and the restaurant were great. Good relaxing atmosphere. I would rev
Had a warm welcome, hosts were very friendly, the room was gorgeous with a lovely view, the bed was very comfortable, the food was great, and a great start to my 50th birthday celebration.
I must say while the main course was excellent, we were disappointed that they don't do a sweet menu anymore. We were offered some cake or biscuits, but not the same as a good pud to finish off with. We have been familiar with the Shipwreck for many years as we had our boat in the Marina, so spent m
