Note, this review is for the cafe, outdoor seating. The cake selection is mediocre, not particularly worth it. Coffee was fine (standard dark roast), though a later espresso I had, with strange colouring and flavours from the crema. Seemed to be a few tables with empties on and didn't get removed ti
Nothing short of amazing. I'm not a bitter drinker but they have a low alcohol bitter, it was actually very nice. Food was amazing and the views of the Orwell amazing. Booked up again.
Great place for brunch. Food very tasty as all is fresh from their own farms. Very large dining area plenty of tables and chairs. Very clean and modern. Staff helpful and informative. Great place to stop for a break if on A12 just before Orwell Bridge if heading East.
Love it here, food lovely and served hot. The food hall can be a little bit very tasty. Cheese section is lovely. Car park always very busy. Great trampoline bubble for the children to play. Xx
Lovely afternoon tea. My husband had a regular one and I had the vegan option. Delicious cakes, scones and savouries. Friendly service too.
Great breakfast, nice clean place with a fantastic view, staff very pleasant and polite, large place so a little chilly but I'm sure it must be horrendous cost to heat the place so I do understand. Definitely go there you will not be disappointed. 👍
Comfortable seats and a table looking out over the Orwell. Prompt service, and a birthday price reduction. Small menu meant a busy resaurant could give good service.
Excellent breakfast as always, loverly local produce fresh and flavoursome. Friendly professional staff with a special thank you to Anna.
Took my girlfriend here today for her birthday brunch. Absolutely delicious. The empty plate says it all.
Lovely afternoon tea. Food is very good, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Beautiful views and new decor and layout gives the restaurant a better atmosphere
Very tasty food. Staff friendly and helpful. A little expensive but very well worth it.
Food was great as was the atmosphere, highly recommended
Visited yesterday for a late lunch. Food absolutely delicious, service fantastic and ambience also brilliant. Can't wait to return again
We went today for an afternoon tea. It was so very tasty, the view is amazing there and the staff did all they could for us. The amount of food was definitely satisfactory. The restaurant is well kept, modern and warm. No mess anywhere and plenty of staffing to avoid disappointing waits. Pre booking
Came for breakfast on the first day of our holiday and the English breakfast was one of the best I’ve had! The waitress who served us was extremely helpful and accommodating with dietary requirements. Lovely view of the bridge over the river Orwell.
