Can't recommend Byron Ipswich highly enough. Popped in on Saturday to try their new menu and the manager made our evening when he offered us our burgers and fries on the house. We had nachos to start (we both loved the fresh green chilis) and then the Smokehouse and Clucky. We both commented on the freshness of everything (in particular the chicken served in the Clucky was cooked to perfection and I had the freshest sweet potato fries I've had in a long time) and the brisket in the burger was a big hit with my carnivorous boyfriend. We've tried other burger competitors in the area but we keep coming back due to the great food, broad range of choice and above all the amazingly friendly service. Thanks Byron!

If you want a burger in Suffolk, there is no better place to go. Friendly staff, fantastic food, did not get rushed so could savour every mouthful, and prime meat - what a treat. Will be going back for more soon.

Celebrated our youngest's 13th birthday here last Wednesday and very happy with the burgers πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ πŸ” and of course the bottomless fries πŸ€— nachos and chicken wings are absolutely delish! Great atmosphere, clean and efficient service! Will come back again 😁

After a disappointing birthday trip for the family we decided to go to Byrons as have had plenty of great experiences here - seated promptly and waitresses were very attentive. Food not quite as good as I remember before lockdown (Burgers use to be bursting with flavour, skin on fries were hot and crispy, this time the burgers and chips were very simple in taste), still an enjoyable meal after a disappointing rest of our evening, thank you staff and we'll be back

Food tasted great!. We got a Byron burger and a normal beef burger and both were cooked perfectly. Loads of fries espeically if you just choose original fries. The bacon and cheese topped fries were good but not enough toppings and seemed to be a smaller quantity. Oreo milkshakes were amazing!

Great vegan options and staff go out of their way to get you the best deal possible. The food itself was soooo flavourful and I want another one already!! They have options to have the burger without bun, multiple sides, salads if you're trying to be healthier and great toppings. My flatmate was super stoked too. We were nervous as two vegans going to a burger joint but we're planning our next trip already! Long story short: amazing food, great options all with the best staff EVER!

A really good balanced menu. The waiters have good knowledge and are helping. Tried the chilly burger with onion rings and fries. One the best burgers I have ever had.

Fantastic service today and the food is amazing. Only thing id change is the kids drink being a fruit shoot or something similar as our 2 year old isn't great with an open cup!

My friends and I took an unplanned visit to Byron late on a Friday night. This was my first time to a Byron so a quick scan of the menu outside gave me a plethora of vegan options with a whole section dedicated to their plant-based options. It must be noted that these are cooked on the same grill as other food if that puts you off. I went for a vegan double bacon cheeseburger. As I was hungry and fascinated by their food, I also asked for a piece of their vegan chicken on the side. It was our server, Jordan's, second day of training and he was fantastic, checking he had understood our order and got our meals exactly right. He also had already split the bill for us depending on what each of us had. This was so useful as some of us needed their beds and wanted to leave promptly after eating. The burger was moist with charring. The American-style cheese melted beautifully. Next to my carnivore friend's meals, you would not be able to pick out the plant-based burger. The 'chicken' was the best I've had. How Byron do their coating is how KFC should do their vegan burger. It is bubbly, crunchy and full of flavour. It is not in the style of KFC, so the flavours don't match, but the texture is amazing. Fries were an optional extra. Burgers do not automatically come with them, so I was pleased I didn't order any as these two items, along with a vegan salted caramel milkshake, were filling! I had such a good experience at Byron that I wish they had one in East Sussex. I think Bluewater is my closest one. If you want a posh vegan Burger King you cannot go wrong with Byron. A return visit with my family is surely on the cards? P.S. I have just found the calories for my meal by downloading the allergen menu. I wish I had not looked. I think my meal was over 2000kcals! Whoops!

Really excellent service from the young waitress (didn’t get her name) but she had dark hair and a lovely character. Really talkative and made sure everything was okay. Food is always so yummy especially the Mac and cheese. Always hot and fresh. Love coming here.

Burgers are really tasty and they can do everything on the menu as vegan. The monthly specials are really good. There's good options for kids. They are really good on allergies compared to other places and actually go out of their way to help you. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Yes it is a bit pricey but compared to most places and how things are these days. If you want a good burger instead of a piece of cardboard that's under Β£10 then you have to pay that bit extra

A couple of mates said to me that this place is a bit expensive, but if you like good food it’s worth every penny. It was very busy when we went to Byron, but the service was very good and they waiter was very friendly. If you love a good burger it’s worth every penny.

Great welcome and seated promptly. Ordered drinks and food. Menu choices were great with lots to choose from. Food was really tasty and filling. However, the temperature in the restaurant was pretty cold. I sat with my coat on the whole time. And was quite shocked by the bill - we only had three burgers two sides and three cokes and it came to 70 quid!!! It was only a lunch. The 10% discretionary tip was included, which I'd rather give myself than have it included. Seems that we'd only return as a special occasion, because I need to save up to return!

Tasty burgers from beef to chicken to vegan in a great restaurant that is clean, fun and friendly, good menu selection with great starters, sides, but burger range between Β£8.50 - Β£14, drinks include soft, milkshakes then beers too and fast service with a smile, ( seem to have lots of staff running around busily but always ready to help ) I went for the classic burger, sweet pot fries and side of coleslaw.... This was delicious
