Great place, beautiful view, very kind and friendly staff, good food and drinks. I do recommend visiting this place :)
Live next door to the Grazing sheep and always wanted the food to match the view and surroundings. Just been to a tapas night on Saturday and I am happy to report it was fantastic. White wine was chilled, the range of dishes served up by the owner and his Spanish son were delicious. A great addition to the waterfront and well worth a visit.
Bravo
Warmed scones were fab as was the beef roll. Went back for breakfast the following morning. Highly recommend. Lovely place and friendly staff.
We've eaten here several times over the last few weeks, for breakfast, coffee, lunch and tapas on a Friday evening. The food is delicious and different, the service friendly, the ambience and the view superb. what more can I say!
Found this little delight - delicious home baked food and lovely friendly staff. If you care about food quality and enjoy food created with care and passion. This is the place to go.
Amazing food - the avocado and poached egg on Rye bread was out of this world tasty. The service was friendly and helpful - officially new favourite place for brunch, I can’t wait to try the tapas!
Very friendly efficient staff. One of us had a white bacon roll and the other had a granary bacon roll we requested the bacon to be cooked crispy which they did. Lovely tasting bacon fabulous loose leaf tea. I also got tempted to take away two of their sausage rolls and I was delighted I did they are superb! Wish I lived closer so I could go and test the savoury scones. Still always have next year's holiday to make a return visit.
Awesome cafe great healthy food and amazing cake ! Lovely atmosphere, the ladies who work there are so smiley and friendly. 100% recommend it.
Friend and I had lunch here today - great choices for lunch and an excellent selection of homemade cakes to choose from. I had the asparagus quiche with side salad which was fresh and delicious finished off by a spot on Cappaccino! Service was friendly and quick and the view of the marina in the sunshine was lovely. Next time we'll try the wine and cakes - will definitely be back. Xx
Good coffee, good food and fantastic, friendly staff. If you're down at the waterfront I would definitely recommend a visit
We had the cafe booked out as a private function this Sunday afternoon. We had afternoon tea for 22 of us. It was excellent and delicious. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. Would definitely recommend it. Thank you all!
Amazing food this evening! We chose from the tapas menu and the chef came out to explain the ingredients of each course. The food was truly delicious - I can't wait to go back!
Fabulous brunch with a beautiful sunshine. I went for their English breakfast 🍳🥓🍞🍅🍄, it's different yet great taste. My partner went for pancake 🥞🥓, not too bad. But, mine was far better. We won't hesitate coming back to taste their sourdough toast, look brilliant 🤤.
Beautiful location with delicious food and a warm welcome. Watching the owner was like watching a mini-masterclass in good hospitality; greeting regulars and newcomers alike with the same genuine and warm welcome. Service like that goes a long way to make you feel a valued customer, and that’s clearly a big priority here!
I enjoyed my avocado toast with rocket & toasted seeds, sans egg as I wanted it to be vegan. I was advised to try the vegan feta instead, and after my hesitation I was glad I did! The chef apparently marinades the feta in oil and spices and it was a tasty extra addition! (I even took some cubes home for my evening salad!)
My OH enjoyed his breakfast “pan de Cristal”, along with soya latte and a peach smoothie.
It was lovely to sit upstairs in the sunny room overlooking the marina.
Will definitely return!
We’ve been here a few times as a family, very welcoming on arrival, the staff are lovely.
Both food and drinks are very tasty, accompanied by a great waterfront view. The perfect place to go for breakfast!
Popped in en route to a first visit to Portman Road ground 48/92, to watch the historic Woman's game. Great service definitely the Spanish influence of look after the customers, lovely view and the Bacon and Brie Pan de Cristal was amazing.
Every visit to Ipswich always has to include a trip to the grazing sheep for an outstanding breakfast/brunch. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Service was really good. Food was a beautiful enough said the view is beautiful. Thank you for a lovely time
Perfect breakfast, service and very reasonably priced. Lovely location. However..... I've just gone on your FB page and to my dismay I see scones, cream 1st then jam well.... having lived in Cornwall for 25 years, I'm appalled, Jam 1st peeps.... 😆 what the heck, we can over come this small misdemeanor,
we'll definitely be back. ❤️
Mmmm… Delicious! Coffee was lovely too. The owner was very welcoming, nice guy. The service was good too, we had our drinks and food delivered at the same time. We went during a busy period and were able to find a table quickly. Only thing was that the poached eggs weren’t runny but that was not a problem for me and still enjoyed my meal. Will be going there again!
Came here for brunch and this was really delicious the dressing on these was so yummy I was still thinking about it a week later.
Wow. What can I say. The pop up Tapas evening was superb from start to finish and absolutely faultless. Service and food top notch.
Usually served outside but as can happen on a UK summer evening wind and rain put a stop to that. We ate upstairs inside which was lovely. Large floor to ceiling windows and it was quite nice to be cosy inside whilst watching the wind and rain on the River Orwell
Everything you need to know about the menu is explained when you arrive. The dishes are all big enough to share and some come with bread to mop up all the delicious flavours..we wanted to order everything from the menu as it all sounded excellent.. but were advised to start of with 4 dishes between the 2 of us and see how we felt.. sound advice this was as the portions are generous and you'll want to eat every last mouthful.
To begin we had complimentary olives which were infused with green chilli. Great quality and tasty.
The large grilled prawns with garlic and chilli were cooked to perfection and sweet.
The mixed meats and manchego cheese came with warm bread and 4 bowls of delicious condiments. Homemade garlic mayo, tomato with olive oil and garlic, thick balsamic glaze and tasty olive oil.
The chicken dish was succulent pieces of chicken that fell of the bone with crispy chicken skin delicately flavoured with chilli. Like a pimped up roast chicken. The chorizo cooked in cider came with lentils and a soft fried egg on top again plenty more bread to mop up all the lovely sauces.
The timing of each dish was perfect clearly these guys know what they're doing. Empty plates taken away promptly. Attentive and really personable service.
The wine was good and beers served in chilled glasses from the freezer to keep it super cold.
We took a pause as wanted to order more.. but were beaten..well we made room to share a pastel de nata and chocolate caramel cake with a perfect black coffee.
An excellent evening. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes we didn't have room for.
We couldn't leave a tip as didn't have cash only card and enjoyed it so much I visited the next day just to drop off the missing tip. I would've had another coffee and cake but they weren't any free tables. Another day for sure.
What a gem of a place, LOVED IT! I
Literally the most beautiful place in Ipswich to get Breakfast/Brunch. The staff are so welcoming, the food is so good I actually now end up here at least once in a week. Most definitely Worth a Visit you will not be disappointed, sometimes in the summer the wait can be a little long but believe me it's worth it! very good selection of meals for all pallets.
Amazing place for breakfast, friendly welcome in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Food was superb, waffle and streaky bacon was divine, highly recommend
We managed to get a seat for the Tapas evening (there's only 4 this summer) after being on the waiting list and I'm really glad we had the opportunity. The food as always was a high quality affair - we shared four tapas and bread and that was plenty. The view from upstairs was glorious and the staff were efficient and attentive without being invasive. Had a really lovely evening.
Early breakfast? Food of the gods! Lovely view over the harbour too.
If you don't know of this place and you're in Ipswich, do yourself a favour and give it a try. Staff great, owner always so welcoming and the food.... yeah. Looks pricey, but my word is it worth it. The breakfasts are to die for. The Full monty breakfast muffin will fill you up nicely and leave you ready for the day. Lovely to sit outside on a warm day, but equally inside as they have a few tables overlooking the marina. Great for people watching and drinking good coffee!
I ate here recently, and the food (I ordered a cheese scone), coffee, and service was brilliant. Everyone was friendly and helpful. This was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last.

Really nice breakfast on the marina, friendly attentive staff and great food. I had the full monty muffin breakfast with their signature sausage patties. Lovely sausage patty made with rice in. I make a similar one at home with wild rice.
A very high standard cafe with an interesting top end breakfast menu. It is in a new building very well decorated. We had avocado on the toast with eggs on top. My partner had a vegan rosti. Not the cheapest place but very nice. Jazz got a bit irritating but that was minor. And not wanting to sound like my mum, but the toilet was lovely. Great view from the large windows over the marina.
Excellent spot for coffee/lunch, I've been there twice and both times have been great. Very nice bustling atmosphere, good coffee, and the lunch was surprisingly good! Seating upstairs or outside are both stunning for views.
