The Salthouse Eaterie - Ipswich - Photo album

Just finished a late lunch. I believe Maddie was the pleasant staff who took us in and was of most excellent service. We had the special of the day the seafood sharer and was impressed by how nicely the skate was done with the bisque. The decor was a bit eccentric but had its own way. Definitely
Went for a friends birthday and had the early dinner menu! Amazing value and the food was amazing! We had extra wine and the waiter was really helpful on the pairings. Thank you will return! Atmosphere was lovely also with marina views.
Staff were professional, friendly and genuine. We needed to amend the booking time due to traffic, which they were happy to do and didn't seem an issue for the restaurant. I had the cod with a salad which was really tasty and fresh/light. There were a few large parties in the restaurant the same tim
Amazing food and the most polite and helpful waiting staff I've encountered for a long time. Really couldn't fault the quality or standards there. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars not 5 is due to how noisy it was. The design of the restaurant (which aesthetically is stunning) incorporates high ceiling
Beautiful local food and impeccable service. Been wanting to eat here for a while but due to its higher prices we decided to go with a voucher we received. However I can see why the price on the more expensive end of Ipswich's eateries, everything on the plate went well, nothing was unflavoured or m
We had the early bird dinner. I think you have to book a table between 5.00pm and 6.00pm, I believe. Costs £29pp for a limited menu with a drink. Well worth the money, though. The food was delicious, and the sevice was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
We had a wonderful evening at the Salthouse with an Early Bird set menu. It was a well presented meal with enough to make you satisfied but not over full to bursting. We chose the same for each course, the duck liver parfait was lovely , the main was a bacon loin with vegetables and a duo of cheese
I get breakfast here and it's great. But i also got a dinner this time and it was awesome and the best part was the deconstructed rhubarb pie. This place does great food and it's consistent. And the staff is awesome.
This is a very interesting restaurant space, full of quirky art set in a beautiful old building. The food & service are exceptional & the set menu if you order before 6:00pm is an amazing deal. Would highly recommend this to anyone who is needing to eat in Ipswich
A great place for a business lunch. We were meeting a team who travelled from the City and was nice to show off Ipswich in it's best light by the Waterfront on a crisp, sunny winter's day. The service was attentive but discreet and food great as always. Will be back soon
