Just discovered this place for a sunday brunch, probably the best full English breakfast I've had in a long time. The rest of the menu looks absolutely amazing too, I will definitely be back here!
Place with character. Some sitting areas outside and inside. Lots of paintings, which are for sale too. If you are lucky you can get a table with a view to the waterfront and all boats. We have been served pretty quickly, food have been presented really nicely. Not the cheapest place to go but worth to try and give a go. Very filling. Surely do not need any starters or deserts. Although they had lovely menu for deserts.
We had a lovely meal here last night. I had steak and red wine jus, my husband had the maple and bacon burger. Tastiest food in the area, attentive staff, friendly and welcoming. We were staying 1 night on the Marina and definitely chose wisely where to eat! Great menu, service and atmosphere.

This is an amazing restaurant, you wouldn't think it was in Ipswich, feels like it should be in London or a major city. The food is excellent, and all made from quality ingredients. Some people may say it's in the pricier side, but I really don't mind the cost for this level of excellence.
Fabulous meal, lovely staff, and service exceptional.
Though we were a large group, all the meals came together, food was fabulous.
Have always had great service here, and would highly recommend it.
Super cute little find on a recent visit to Ipswich. We had the Rib Eye sharer and oh my days absolutely stunning meat (not to mention the delicious sides that came with!)
Celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. Superb Sunday roast. Everything beautifully cooked. Pudding was delicious too. Sorry for the ‘tucked in’ photos. Excellent staff. Friendly and very accommodating. Definitely recommend ❤️

This place is just stunning! If you are in Ipswich you need to stop at this lovely Bistro.
The view is lovely, if you are lucky enough you will sit next to the window and you will have a lovely meal with the waterfront view.
Let’s talk about the main thing: FOOD!
What I can say, the best quality you can get in town, they have a fantastic chef as the plate a quite elaborate and it is something you usually can’t find in most of the restaurants.
We had a brunch and the quality pf the food was better than other place around.

We didn’t plan to get a dessert, but I did spot on the menu a dessert that did catch us: THE PISTACHIO AND FIG MILLEFEUILLE. Honestly this dessert was an emotional experience, it is a plated dessert with a mix of ingredients that all together were just STUNNING!
Plus of this place: they got my favourite dessert wine RECIOTO DELLA VAL POLICELLA. If you love red sweet wine you need to try it 🍷
Service was lovely, they are really friendly and good attention to details. I love the fact that they have proper napkins not the paper one.
Last the prices are really good considering the quality of food and the service.

The Bistro has a lovely ambiance in a superb location. The food was excellent with plenty of it. The staff are friendly and happy to please. The prices are very competitive and we will be going back.
Fantastic food and the service was brilliant from Vlad, he instantly made you feel welcome, allowing us to pick our table and having a joke with us. The food was so good, there was nothing I could possibly give constructive feedback on. Can't wait to go back.
Very friendly staff, good atmosphere and humongous dessert portion ideal for share 😂 recommend the chips raclette with complementary cheese topping up. Loved the braised beef 👌

What a lovely place I had a burger,maple and bacon the best I have had in a very long time.The staff were very obliging.It had a lovely atmosphere I wish we lived nearer so we could go on a regular basis many thanks to the staff especially the brilliant chef.👍👍👍🍔
Fantastic family lunch today, food was fantastic and Great variety. Wide choice of wines
From the outside this place looked clean and tidy although maybe a little uninviting (We wasn't sure it was even open). Once inside we where very swiftly greeted and sat down by a lovely lady with impeccable service. The atmosphere and interior decoration gives the Bistro a very 'English tea shop' feel, huge floor to celine windows allow you to overlook the marina whilst dining.
There was a fantastic seasonal choice on offer and I highly recommend the vegetarian Mediterranean Vegetable Tart.
The service was very quick and staff very eager to please. It did get busy very quickly but that was due to it being Sunday on our visit and the Bistro's limited opening hours.
Overall a lovely place to eat and we would definitely go there again.

Service was excellent, the waitresses were very attentive and smiled every time they walked past. The food was really nice. We had the five course valentine's menu which was very filling and was presented well. They even gave us a 🌹.
