I have the best childhood memories visiting the toy department after our trip to the dentist for playmobil or Lego, many years on � This week my daughter has been hunting for a particular Lego elves set and after searching could not find it anywhere online and I remembered about Strachans so after few Facebook messages she couldn't believe her luck and we travelled through from buckie to collect. Little sister is following her sisters love of Lego and she bought her first Lego elves set with Christmas pennies can't wait for new collection and will be back when they are out. Great service friendly and professional.

Huge thanks to the toy department in helping me source Christmas items for a Beaver Scout group. Price was competitive, however with the group discount of 10% it was cheaper than major retailers!
Popped in yesterday for a hot chocolate and ice cream with my little boy and the service was great! The girl that served us chatted away to my boy about his ice-cream choice and took over my hot chocolate when it was as ready. Made our little trip there delightful.... might have to make it a weekly visit!

Strachan’s has been a great Inverurie institution through the years and generations of the family and have always adapted to meet the current trends, so now as well as being a great newsagents and toy shop etc they provide great ice cream food and amazing coffee. Their scones are absolutely delicious and staff always warm and friendly. Keep up the great work folks 👏
A lovely independent family run business with the best selection of design-led greetings cards in Aberdeenshire! It’s a must visit for special Christmas cards and special occasion cards throughout the year. I have bought many a special gift from the gift department too, which were all very well received.

Went to buy birthday balloons and they did a great job while I waited. Lovely quality toys and gifts, have gone to there to buy many gifts for birthdays and Christmas for a range of ages.
Good service and range of food and drink. Love the newspaper themed menu board behind the counter. I makes good reading.
Friendly staff, lovely little local shop. It's a little bit of a rabbit run inside with lots of wee hidden areas. Great products, could easily spend lots of time and money there.
