I love this place! Favourite restaurant in Inverness! Amazing food and fantastic service! Would highly recommend! We were there on Friday night and had a delicious meal served with great service from our waiter Drew! Can’t wait to go back!!! ���

We were seated very quickly, staff were very attentive. I had the teriyaki beef which was lovely and the rump steak with was delish. The cocktails were also yummy. There was a slight issue with one of the starters but the staff were very good about it and dealt with the situation in a positive and friendly manner. Will definitely return �

Absolutely brilliant meal,very reasonably priced and the staff were as ever friendly, lovely 😊 and so helpful. I’d definitely recommend the Mustard Seed .

Myself and my daughter had an excellent lunch today. We arrived 5 / 10 minutes before our booking, but were immediately seated. Orders were taken promptly and drinks and starters arrived just over 5 minutes later. We each had a starter and main meal and they were excellent. Service was first class too, highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again soon.

Lunch at The Mustard Seed was fantastic! It's their attention to details, like lemon slice in our tap water and splitting our one large wine order into both our wine glasses, giving us best available seat at the time of our reservation, and it was a joy to observe the team of service leaders working in tandem to clear & set up a table for 4 in such a synchronously flow it would have taken years of working well today to achieve such a beautiful state of flow :-) Food was divine and we highly recommend eating here! PS: thank you very much to the dear lady whom take care of our table, you totally made our day" we feel so comfortable" not been discriminate nor judge in anyway as a foreigner in town. Also super pleased to know you have committed 15 years to Mustard Seed, the owner is so blessed to have you in the team. Cheers

We had a wonderful meal for my birthday at the mustard seed. There was a varied menu with locally sourced food and some interesting specials. The fig started needed more blue cheese as was a bit tasteless. The service was great until the last 20 minutes when we had to pay at the counter as we had spent 20 minutes waiting.

We went there for the early bird meal. We got a table near the entrance next to the licensing placards and the fire extinguishers (one of which was CO2 which in my country according to my limited knowledge is not allowed for closed spaces). Liked the food although the meat was a bit chewy. The service personnel were nice but it did take them some time to register our presence when we entered the restaurant.

Very nice setting with good service and food. They offer a variety of gluten free options. I had the goulash and really enjoyed it, my wife had fish, and as someone that doesn’t often eat fish, she said she will be back for more.

Wonderful restaurant, with outstanding food and service. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and executed perfectly. We loved everything; started with the mussels, had 2 mains with fish and a pannacota and crème brûlée. It was a perfect evening and best total meal we ever had in Scotland so far.

Salmon, Beef were great. Service was prompt and friendly. The recommended venison was tough and the owner promptly brought a replacement entree. Must have advance reservations as there were walk-in hoards turned away.

Highly recommend getting a reservation here! We were behind a couple that got turned away, luckily we had a reservation. We got a table upstairs with a view of the River- it was stunning. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and they brought out a sparkler on the ice cream. The food was super tasty. The service was a bit slow but they were slammed so it was understandable.

Came here for my husband’s birthday meal. Great place for a special occasion, the staff are excellent and the food came out quickly. The menu items are very interesting with lots of variety. I had the chicken and mushroom pie which was very yummy and my husband had the chicken stuffed with haggis and loved it!

Highly recommend this place. It is best to make a reservation. We had the lunch menus £15.95 for two courses. We also added sweets see photos. Service and food was excellent

Definitely need a reservation! Our server was a gentleman and the food was delicious. The venison was amazing and the mushroom soup of the day as well. The rest was great but the first two really stood out. Thanks!
