Booked Encore for dinner on our last night In Inverness. Loved the restaurant the minute we walked in. Our waiter was brilliant - super friendly and chatty. We all had the chicken liver as a starter and it was amazing. The mussels for my main was probably the best I have ever had and the sauce - well they could bottle it and sell it! My husband loved the steak pie as well. The deserts were amazing too. I would highly recommend anyone going to Inverness to book to have dinner here

Watched the marathon running next door.. then came in the restaurant for warmth, food and a beer. Mussels were plentiful.. get about 18 for starters, and almost double when you order mains. Dunking the crusty bread, slathered with butter into the mussel cream sauce was magical. I will not be surprised if you order extra bread. It was the steak pie I came for, and I loved it.. Delicious!

What a lovely gem of a place and great to see it so busy on a Monday night late October, a clear indication of good food and great service. Every mouthful of the food was superb, and with a smallish menu a great sign that they know what they do well, and yes they do it very well. Haggis bon bons in whisky sauce was a great starter, but then again everything was. Encore's Highland Chicken dish was amazing but the burgers, that we didn't have, also looked amazing. If you only have one night to eat out in Inverness, then eat here.

Came on a Sunday night and was greeted with a warm cosy environment with live music playing. It felt very homely and cordial. We were served drinks (draft beers and cocktails) which were absolutely delightful. Then we were served our main courses and a soup of the day which we couldn't praise more about. The magnum opus has to be the mussels which we basically licked clean off the plate. Definitely would definitely recommend for anyone in Inverness, and this is coming from someone on the other end of the hemisphere!

Had amazing dinner and drinks here. We had the salmon, sea bass and the Mussles- all were excellent and generous. The peach and gin drink was really tasty though We found the pinky drinkee a tad bit too sweet. The dessert was really delicious as well. The ambiance, service and music made the overall experience pretty perfect!

Food was excellent, the only reason for a 4 star on service was we never were asked for drink refills til we stopped our waitress after we were done eating almost... definitely get reservations because they fill fast. Food was very very good as was the ice cream!!

Lovely modern pub vibes, good service and food. I would like to mention that we were given a table although we had no reservations and were struggling to find a restaurant.

Very good food! We had a great time at this restaurant. It is highly recommended to book in advance as a lot of people were queueing when we left.

So furtunas to have landed this spot for dinner! A reservation is recommended. Scottish mussels were perfectly cooked and seasoned, they were so good we ordered a second. Lol! Entre was pan seared cod with potato and asparagus over cauliflower purée and delicious chorizo & pea butter. And homemade steak pie with creamy mash and sautéed vegetables. Excellent ambiance with live pianist.

Perfect way to end my stay in Inverness. I had The Nessie Tart (Scottish gin, Midori, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and sugar syrup), haggis bon bons with turnip puree & whisky sauce, Scottish mussels in a white wine & cream sauce, and cranachan (a traditional Scottish dessert with cream, Scottish raspberries, toasted oats, and a splash of whisky). Everything was sooo good. Like, remarkably delicious, especially the mussels and the cranachan 🤤 Highly, highly recommend coming here, whether you're a tourist or a local. And my server was the best!

We came for the beer and got blown away by the food. Simply put, excellent seafood. The best mussels in years, as creamy and garlicky as they get, and an incredible pan seared cod fillet I'll be dreaming about tonight. Congrats to the Encore team!

Encore une fois had a fantastic atmosphere and we were lucky enough to have a show in aid of the local foodbank! The food was absolutely delicious, just look at those mussels! And our server was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the risotto!

The whole presentation of this place is great. It’s comfortable, pleasing, and a bit upscale but not intimidating for someone to walk in off the street. The staff was friendly, particularly the tall fellow, and the food was great. The mussels were much better than we could’ve expected, the kids plates were good, and the steak sandwich I had was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

One of the best Fish & Chips and burgers we have ever had. The restaurant itself has nice decor and coziness. A bit pricey but worth it. Definitely will return.

We had a very nice dinner. Our B&B owner recommended it, and it didn't disappoint. Halloumi cheese, butternut squash soup and fish and chips.
