Excellent place to eat. The menu is fab and food is very good value for money. The place itself has a great atmosphere and the waiting staff are very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend eating here!

4 adults & 3 kids all loved the carvery meal at lunch time. Staff very friendly, helpful & very accommodating. When asked they always go that extra mile. Kids enjoyed outside & inside play areas so much that they didnt want to leave..so we stayed for supper too! Every pound spent was worth the fun day out we all experienced. Well deserved thank you too Michael our waiter.🖒

Visited 28th October celebrating a new Job. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent, we had Smothered chicken burger, chicken and ham pie and a Fajita burger. Food was nice and hot and delivered promptly. I had the Fajita burger which was a new addition, very enjoyable and would recommend. Ordered the banoffee cheesecake, excellent for the sweet tooth diner. Thanks to John and the Staff for another great visit

Great little place for classic pub food. Staff were all friendly and atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Food was good pub fare, reasonably priced, and the service was brilliant - will definitely be back.

Friendly staff and great food. All the staff we spoke to were welcoming and helpful. The soft play area is well maintained and clean and there's a lovely wee park outside with seating. Only minor complaint is that the bin in the disabled toilet/ baby changing needs emptied more often or swapped for a smell-proof alternative!

Have be there twice and had a pleasant experience both times. The first time being at 4:30 on a Sunday was fairly busy but the food was fairly prompt and the did a good job keeping us away form the noise of the family section. Second time was much later in the evening food took a bit longer to appear but was still reasonable. The food is nothing spectacular bit they have a good menu and the price is fair, the only thing I can fault them on since coke took over there drinks license there's not such a great section of soft drinks.

Good place to go for breakfast. No real criticisms except that the table and chairs in breakfast area not really suitable for tall people for (6ft 2’) as either the tables are low or chairs are high. Either way, bent over table. Only place I have ever had that experience. My dad loves it and tends to sit in the bar area which is perfect. Shout out to staff who are very friendly. Parking is plentiful and prices are reasonable. Connected to a Premier Inn for those staying over.

Stopped by here on my way home and although they were busy, space was made for us. Staff were very good and friendly. (10 out of 10)😊 Food was tasty and provides quickly. Plenty car parking spaces. Handy locale on the edge of the city if your traveling. Recommended for some decent pub grub.

I was a little concerned about eating here after reading the reviews on here as I was staying in the hotel next door. I was greated by a very friendly guy on the door, ordered food and drinks from the bar, staff very friendly. Food arrived and it was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed it

Visited along with my wife at tea-time, after pre-booking a table, and found there was a "Two Main Meals for £xx" offer on. Not only this, but there were further offers on for reduced price starters, and desserts too. We therefore ordered a starter to share, two mains, and two desserts, after a long day driving down from Durness via John O'Groats, and having a hearty appetite by then. The food came very quickly, with no delay, and was well presented, and of a decent portion size too. I should mention at this point, that after a number of recent visits to various different Brewers Fayres, they seem to be one of the organisations taking COVID safety the most serious, as numerous covid safety measures were in place, and staff procedures changed accordingly too - all in all, leaving us feeling as confident of safety as possible. Our staff during the visit, Jenn and Raf, were very friendly and helpful. Our desserts arrived just as speedily following our main course being polished off, and they too were both spot-on target, and rounded off a lovely meal, and a decent, safe, and hassle-free visit. Finally the price was excellent too, given the time of our visit and the various offers on.

All in all, was fairly alright. :) No problem with parking outside. Turned up without a reservation but there was plenty of space. We got a couple of high chairs too. I had to carry them myself because the manager(?) asked the pregnant waitresses to get me some. We used a voucher to get money off. Drinks had an unlimited refill because you have to use the machine yourself. You have to pay by going to the bar. We both had the cluck 'n' ale burger which tasted alright. Would have been a bit dry without the dip I thought. (My eldest managed to drop pasta everywhere before I got a photo off lol)
