Haven’t been up for quite a while but had a lovely lunch there today. Staff were really friendly and happy to accommodate variations to the menu for our kids. Lovely coffee, food was delicious and I was very jealous of the folk having the Sunday roast, it looked fab as the waiting staff were carrying it out!
Always go here for breakfast , great prices and always good food and service , had a Sunday dinner here once and it was top notch
Thank you to all the staff for making granny’s birthday so lovely. Food and service faultless.
Had a curry in Howdens on their Thursday curry night. It was absolutely amazing. Such a good price for £7.95. Really filling and beautifully presented with all the Indian trimmings. I will definitely be back for more :)
had breakfast there this morning it was very good, great value, staff very friendly xx
Great afternoon teas and the staff are lovely and helpfull.
We took our Granddaughter who is 2 this afternoon to meet Santa . Santa was so lovely, spending a nice amount of time with each child. Then a lovely choice of present at the end. With lots of photo opportunity’s.
Well done Howdens, making Christmas special for the little ones

Super lunches - and concession for OAPs once a week. We had a Reunion with my Sister and Brother in Law across from N Ireland staying with their son in Bonar Bridge and Grandson with us from New Zealand. Ran from lunch into afternoon coffee and no pressure to move on! There are always bargains to be had in books and toys. I find the Craft Department irrestable. Super place for buying gifts. Very high quality planes. Full marks all round!
Great service and great cakes as always. Will be going back real soon.
Very twinkley sparkley and Christmasy....
Nice cafe in this garden centre. We has a tasty Lorne sausage bun, French toast with real blueberries and a yummy lemon curd, tasty fruit scone. We also had nice tasting coffee but large cup was on the small side compared with other cafes.
Order at counter, they give you an order number and they then bring food to your table.
Good disabled access with a mixture of sofa/coffee tables and standard tables. Menu on boards at counter. Bright lighting. Level access.
We went for lunch with our granddaughter. It was very nice and the staff were very friendly. Their soup is always very tasty. Lots of gift ideas and Christmas decorations in their shop to choose from too
Had the breakfast, waited ages for it but it was extremely busy. Enjoyed it when it came.
Great range of outdoor plants. And gift ideas.
Hidden gem. We had been to other garden centres and spent nothing. Howden had lots of items that captured my imagination. I found everything I was looking for here.
Best garden centre for value and healthy plants in Inverness, the restaurant is also well worth a look.
Didn't have the type of deck furniture I wanted but they had lots of good products. I will be back to check them out, especially the deck lights.
I normally go to the other large garden centre just up the road so this was the first time I've been to Howden in quite a while and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. A pleasant shopping experience and I thought the cafe was nice and not as noisy as its larger rival. Pleasant staff and a good cup of coffee. I will certainly return.
Great range of plants and other products including a fab range of coloured pots, plenty parking and a cade - what's not to love!
Great lunch good value the staff were very helpful all in a lovely lunch
Nice place lots of choice. Was only a quick pop in gor bird food but ended up buying a new coat lol.
Lovely garden centre. Nice staff, good range of tasty food and selection of indoor and outdoor home/garden items.
Lovely and friendly staff and layout
Good place to go for plants for the garden also have good quality
Fantastic staff in the restaurant. So helpful, nothing was a problem for then.
The two young lads who served me couldn't have been more helpful and it was very much appreciated.
Lattes were spot on and scones beautiful, light and tasty.
Lovely garden centre for plants and planters and all things garden. Also great for greeting cards. Has a gift section, clothes shop. There is a coffee shop, but I've not been there. Managed to get gardening gloves for 2 small grandchildren as well
Nice little garden centre with sufficient parking to while away some time with my 86yr old mum. Not too busy but lots to browse around with Christmas coming up. Great bargains as we ended up buying a fleece lined waterproof coat for half price and a Xmas bauble. There's also a light airy coffee shop to try next time we go
