Mcleod's Fish & Chips - Inverness - Photo album

Googled 'the best chip shop in inverness' and they gave this a 4.9 score! They weren't wrong but I would say it's a 5* establishment! Food was absolutely beautiful! Haddock supper was to die for. Crispy batter and fresh white haddock. Chips were cooked to perfection. My partner devoured the tattie f
Researched before I went, and heard they were the best. Crowd waiting for their orders agreed. Placed order for large fish and chips, and waited outside. Ready in about 10 minutes. Ate all the fish, but couldn't do all the chips. It was really good! Definitely recommend.
Delicious fish and chips. Had them with salt and vinegar. Take out only, it would seem, as there was nowhere to sit and eat when we went on a Sunday around 4:30pm.
Coming from Malaysia, I found a lot of the food around the UK wanting, but the fish & chips and Haggis here are absolutely splendid. Only reason I hesitate to give a 5 star review is that it'll result in longer lines but heck I won't be here anytime soon so, good luck locals!
Stopped in for a fish supper efter a hard day in the hills. Quick service , friendly staff , crispy batter , flaky succulant fish , chips nice and crispy ...what more can I say , best chipper in Inverness!!! We'll be back! Fae the Dundee boys.
Fish and chips best I have had. When next visiting Inverness, will be getting supper from here.
This is a fantastic chippy. The fish is excellent. The tartar sauce is incredible. The fried pizza is next level amazing. The chips are a bit disappointing but I think that is personal preference more than anything else. Great spot.
Fish really fresh and tasty. For the chips, not too bad but back home in Belgium they're better
We came with my family visiting from Greece because in the reviews we read it is the best fish and chips in Inverness. We were not disappointed, the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection and the chips were thick cut and delicious! Some salt and vinegar to finish off the masterpiece and we were hap
Best fish and chips in Inverness..Be sure to get a macaroni pie if you haven't had one yet. Delicious! Also, order a side of gravy or curry for the chips. You will not regret it.
Good tasting dishes, made to order. Good selection and a nice touch to have a board with the type of potato and the fishing vessel who caught the fish displayed.
Excellent quality food cookd freshly and served by very happy friendly staff. I'll definitely recommend 👌
We go here for a treat, and they never disappoint. The services are quick, and at peek times, you may have to wait, but you know they're worth it. Battered smoke sausage supper for me and a sausage supper for my wife. The walk home would normally make our suppers soggy but not a Mcleods, still havin
If you are ever in Inverness do yourself a favor and get food here! All the reviews are for a reason. You will have to wait for awhile, but it is worth the wait.
What can be said that hasn't been said already. The best and freshest fish by a mile, the batter is outstanding and the chips are excellent. All locally sourced produce with catch times and boat ref on the chalk board. Kind, attentive service, highly skilled fryers, top fella on service, good young
Never disappoints. Great quality, beautifully cooked, and great value.
