Lovely location, friendly helpful staff, delicious cake (vegan, gluten free etc options), big pot of tea, pretty china - all this brightened up a very drizzly day in beautiful Inverness. Well worth a visit - the snacks looked amazing.

Fab place , food very wholesome , staff very friendly & welcoming . Scones just out of the oven when we arrived . Above all it’s doggie friendly 10/10 for us . Highly recommend the Jammy Piece , we will most certainly be revisiting .Forgot to mention that it has a ramp which is accessible for disabled people , wheelchairs & pushchairs alike

This is a great wee place tucked in beside the Caledonian Canal. The staff are very friendly. There was a great choice of lunch options even for kids. It's dog friendly too. A great cafe and a new favourite for me when passing through Inverness.

We popped along today for lunch and all I could say to my husband is we are definitely coming back. We had a jammy piece each and my son (who is very picky), managed a ham sandwich. What an amazing wee place and the food was out of this world, even accommodating for off menu picky eaters.

Went here as an ending to our sons birthday afternoon. The staff were amazing at letting us bring in his birthday cake. This is a place that I would definitely be back to.

Lovely cosy cafe, with welcoming and friendly staff. Had a great bacon roll and hot chocolate. Very convenient location if you are waiting for your car to be repaired at a garage at that end of town.

Absolute gem of a place! Also do the best outside catering, we ordered a spread for our one year olds birthday party and it was amazing with lots of lovely touches for the little ones, the ‘magic wands’ went down very well!

Didn't realise this cafe existed until a friend recommended it. Soups and bread/cheese scone for an early lunch with hot chocolates. Everything was delicious, portion sizes are generous. The hot chocolates were lovely. Took some scones home and the blueberry was the best scone I have ever had! Will definitely be back 👍🏼

Great lunch stop by the canal - homemade lasagne and chicken hotpot. Tasty and filling. Nice coffees and cake too. Scones looked fabulous but we were too full to have room for one. Friendly staff and dogs welcomed indoors. Busy with locals and visitors.

Having read about this place, had to try it. It didn't dissapoint. The fried egg roll was a proper one with 2 eggs and the coffee was strong. The prices were reasonable for the food produced, the full breakfast looked particular good. The scones looked so good just had to take some home. Although I don't have a dog, did like the fact its dog friendly with dogs getting their own menu. Deffinately would go back.

This place is great. The food is fresh and tasty. The people really friendly. And great value for money. And the placement great for any part of a walk/hike. Maybe the whipped cream with the scone could be substituted with clodded. That won't make me give less than 5 stars though.

Nice cosy and friendly eatery. Food was delicious. We ordered a scone each as well, but they were enormous and defeated us in the end, we could only eat half so took the other halves home. Definitely recommend, worth another visit while we are up here!

We stopped at Jammy Piece for breakfast before heading out on the NC 500 with our dog Murphy. Everybody was really friendly and accommodating with our big dog and even gave us a heads up when two other dogs came in. Appreciated this so much! The breakfast and coffee were great and the scones fantastic. Even Murphy was treated with some biscuits and lots of love. If its a nice day, you can also sit outside overlooking the ships that pass by.

Great little spot, don't be put off by the dockside location or slightly unprepossessing exterior, the team are really friendly and the food is great. I don't usually do food photos but made and exception this time - it was as tasty as it looks. Parking right outside too.

I love this place! Staff are all so friendly and helpful. Food is freshly prepared and delicious. I would recommend their BLT. For dog owners they even have a doggy menu. Situated right next to the Caledonian Canal, it offers beautiful scenery if you prefer sitting at the tables outside.

Just what we needed after a long walk along the Caledonian canal, great coffee with the largest fruit scone I think I have ever eaten! Outside seating watching the boats go through the locks.

Came across this little gem when walking along the canal with the dogs, and stopped for lunch. Sat outside because it was a lovely day but pleased to see it is dog friendly inside too. Staff were great and so was the food. Highly recommended

Stopped off after a walk on a cold day for a cup of tea and a filled roll, friendly staff and nice food. Visited again 26th March and grabbed the Beef Muirton Wrap as a takeaway, very tasty.

Not in the center of town, but by far the best dining experience I had in Inverness. Very friendly staff, great food, and right next to the locks. The scones were as big as my face!

Had my first Scottish breakfast here and it was wonderful. Yes, I ate the haggis and it was really good. Almost like cornbeef hash if you're wondering. Their menu is varied and service was excellent with good portions. Sadly, i didn't get a chance to try their pastries but they looked amazing.
