I had outstanding service at Zizzi Inverness today because of a gentleman called David ( I think he could be the manager and if he is not he should be ) . I went in to get a takeaway at lunch time , the restaurant was extremely busy and the staff were non stop . I was paying by gift cards which I received at Christmas when a problem arose , they kept getting declined . David immediately put me at ease and said there was an error and not to worry he would help rectify it . After 3 phone calls later we were assured there was more than enough funds on the cards and it could be a problem with the terminal . I then offered to pay for the food with cash instead , to which this young gentleman refused saying absolutely not we have waisted enough of your time please have your food on us . I was shocked at such generosity and to make it even better the food was outstanding. I will like to say thank you very much to Zizzi's and for there awesome customer service .
Being someone who doesn't like a lot of Italian I absolutely love this restaurant I would definitely recommend this to anyone staff are amazing and very friendly it was sensational service I for one will defo return here with my husband thank you guys and keep up good work the banana and chocolate calzone is to die for too xxx
Lovely friendly staff and great choice especially for our son who is coeliac. Even had a gluten free Peroni! � Lovely views of the river and food was delicious!
Fab meal tonight for my daughter’s birthday - the rustica piccante was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten! Each course was faultless - thank you.

I had a three course meal here a few weeks ago and to say that I was impressed would be an understatement. The place, cutlery and glasses are clean and tidy, the staff are very polite and the service is very quick. I had a Meatballs for starter which was very tasty, Carbonara and Fries for Main which were absolutely delicious and best of all there Brownie for dessert was just exquisite. This place is also very good at serving people with all allergies, so all people are able to eat here. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We enjoyed our dinner at Zizzi. It was fairly busy, so I recommend getting a reservation. Join their loyalty club, and you can also get a free starter. The cheesy garlic bread was good. You can also get an Italian pizza for around £16. It was a fair price for a solid meal in a relatively expensive tourist area. I would pass on the spritz, as it wasn't great. The service staff did a good job.
This almost became a 3 star review.
At the entrance, we were turned away at the first attempt relatively disinterested because we had not reserved.
But since apparently various tables were free, we have when we were then outside, reserved online on the website for 5 minutes later - and to our surprise immediately get a table.
This has already pulled my mood down a bit.
The exceptionally friendly service and the professional pizza baker (with the black T-shirt) who could not be disturbed by anything and has done a great job, have improved the whole restaurant experience then again significantly and then let the evening end nicely.
The pizzas were great, the pasta good.
Note to the owner of the restaurant:
From my point of view, you lose customers and money with this reception.
A note that you only get a table with prior reservation or a somewhat friendly reception of the lady at the entrance would already help.
This was my first visit to a Zizzi and was really gratefully surprised by the quality and authenticity of the Italian food and pizzas / calzone.
The place is also very clean and contemporary decorated in a good location with a river view. We were friendly and very professionally served. We did not had to wait much for the food.
Drinks are also good, we had some Italian beers and soft drinks.
Their vegetarian pizza was awesome. We had primavera vegetarian pizza. Onion caramelised garlic pizza was just okey though my friends enjoyed that too. Only downside thing about zizzi was their staff. Most of them very Cold n very unfriendly They were actually scary. One of them was very sweet n nice but I forgot to ask her name. Otherwise full marks to zizzi
The best (glutenfree) pizza I have had in a very long time. It was fast prepared on the open kitchen, it was delicious and the staff were friendly. The round pizza is the glutenfree one and I could see the whole process of how it was made, which is that the pizza will be baked in the same oven BUT on a metal plate to keep from contamination and the staff made sure it didn't get contaminated while preparing.
Big shout out to the staff for this!
As someone with Celiac, I had no symptoms afterwards and was very happy with the delicious pizza.
Great place for eating out with friends! Food is beautiful! Only think is the service we asked for new drinks and they took a long time or didn’t come till we reminded the waitress! Staff were lovely though!

This place is very busy so a reservation is recommended. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is friendly. They are a non-cash restaurant, however, so keep that in mind. The food was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly. There is something for everyone on the menu! Highly recommend.
Food excellent, service very good. Atmosphere ok, but table very close together, dinner for 3 felt like dinner for 6 with tables either side of us. That said, will definitely be back as a lot of dishes looked fantastic.
Very nice restaurant on a great location. The lady that helped us was really kind and was a great help. The food was good. We had a shared plate together, and we've had a good meal for the late afternoon. Ready, with full bellies back from Inverness to Edinburgh!
My friend and I had dinner here one night. It was pretty good. We had the garlic bread with caramelized onions. It was OK, not very garlicky. The waitress said it only contained a few pieces, but it waa definitely shareable and we hadnt needed to order two. The bolganese was pretty tasty and I also had a side salad that was good.
Love the pizza and the fresh pasta here. The calamari is good as well.
Very fast delivery of the food from the minute you order it. Didn't have to wait long. Starters were served very quickly and tasted very good and then the pasta and pizza followed and that too was well made and had very good taste.
