Dores Inn - Inverness - Photo album

Delicious fish and chips and scampi, big portions, amazing service, and a great spot by the lake for a swim. Would recommend 100%!
Visited the Dores Inn today with some friends and we were all captivated by the amazing views. Now, about the food. After trying a few fish and chip places in the UK I was a little disappointed with the quality, but I can confidently say that the fish and chips I had at The Dores Inn were the best I
We booked in on short notice to have late lunch after a long hike. Dogs very welcome in bar area where they serve food too! Service was so so quick and food was amazing! Portions are so generous and staff are ever so wonderful to dogs who were well looked after. We had large buffalo wings to share,
Just popped in for a pint and a soup while taking in the sights of Dores beach at Loch Ness. Very friendly staff, great recommendations on larger. I had the sweet potato, chilli and coconut soup. Very very tasty! Highly recommended! The restaurant and bar area is very warm and welcoming. Clean and t
Great cosy pub right by the loch beach. Friendly staff, good variety of beers and drinks. Food was tasty, good value for money and the service was fast too. Loved the log burner and we are going back next week! Book in advance in busy periods.
Why do all Scottish pubs with direct water access choose to not have a single window overlooking the lake? 🤣 I guess it's the wind. Do recommend the meat pies.
I ordered the macaroni cheese, which was served with chunky chips and salad!!! Best chips ever!!! Was honestly the perfect food after a long hike 😊... also got a lovely view of Dores Beach and Loch Ness!!!
Great plave with beautifull scenery, great traditional scottish food and good service. A must!!
8 oz filets of Highland Scot beef were excellent. Great service and view.
Had a lovely breakfast with an incredible view here. I can imagine it’s an amazing place to spend an evening at as well.
It was wonderful to find it open this time around (the first time we went was early in the morning so we missed out), Loch Ness beach is one of my favourite spots in Scotland and the Dores Inn happens to be right there! Fantastic food, great ambience, warm for this time of year, the staff is super f
What a lovely place to visit for a beer on a sunny day. Great location and view.
Great location right on the shore of Loch Ness! Outside bar made it convenient to order and stay outside. Food was pubby and hot so all you need
Lovely meals, polite, attentive staff and good portions at reasonable prices. We both had sticky toffee pudding and was a very generous good tasting portion. Would recommend booking if you need to go as it seems a popular place and it isn't very big.
We were lucky with the weather and could sit outdoors looking over Loch Ness. Stunning scenery. Food was simple but good. We had Macaroni, Caesar salad, Chicken wings and two fish children's meals with ice-cream. All were very good, good quality food. Had a finger bowl with the chicken wings, much a
The place is lovely. Definitely a must visit if you're staying nearby. The food is great and not overly expensive. The view on the Loch Ness and surrounding hills is beautiful. The only thing that could make it better is higher variety of beers.
Lovely food, good portion sizes. Service very friendly and warm, atmosphere was a bit lacking but I think this is because we dined a bit earlier so there was only one other table in the restaurant. Seemed to pick up a bit as we left. Would recommend.
Great pub with a nice beer garden, great fish and chips and an amazing view of the loch!
