Warm wecome, even tho was pass 9pm., the cool Jamaican Chef was happy to cook for us a delicious meal, big portion size too. Loved that he used red onion for my meal. More over, he baked us ice-cream for dessert and the cocktail was served by a lovely Romanian girl. The cocktail was made by his grandmother recipe bdw! Thumbs up! Bravo ai stil man!

We had a great time at Cool Runnings last night to celebrate my daughters birthday. The staff decorated the table and supplies balloons and party popers. Food and service was great. I would definitely recommend people try this place if they haven't already

I had lunch here today with my parents and son and we were welcomed by the chef and he was super friendly. He was run off his feet on his own in the kitchen today and lots of people to cook for! Lots of pressure but he was a superstar and our food was very tasty and worth the wait! Well done today chef!!

Stumbled upon this place whilst looking for a bite to eat for dinner. What a find! Had the jerk chicken & curried goat combo with some dumplings and was stuffed at the end, thoroughly enjoyed it. Great touch with the West Indian hot pepper sauce, shame it wasn't Encona but still did the trick. Shame there isn't one where I live!

This place never disappoints, true we only visit once a year when we stay in Lossiemouth but the fact that my fiance and I always look forward to eating here is testament to how good the food and service is. The owner is so pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere is super relaxed, just what we need on our day away from our kids. The goat curry is beautiful, I'd never tried it before but now have it each time we come for lunch. Prices are very reasonable, some may complain but the owner puts his heart and soul into his cooking

Visited Inverness for 2 nights and after reading reviews decided to eat here on first night. It was so fabulous we went again the second night. Glen is so friendly and food amazing. Told him he needs to open up in Glasgow so we can go all the time. We had fish and chips and jerk chicken and the red wine is lovely 10/10 😀😀😀

I almost missed out on this gem, during my trip to Inverness, because of a few negative reviews I read. Please don’t let them deter you. My experience was fabulous - the service was prompt and friendly, the food was tasty and well seasoned (not too salty, balanced and authentic), with big portions (I had to unbutton my jeans 😂). I had the oxtail while my partner had the escovitch fish. For dessert I had the deep fried ice cream, served beautifully with baked pear, tamarind and coconut - DELICIOUS! The atmosphere and music was on point from the lighting to the old school reggae music! My only criticism is that the food could be spicer, but my family are from Jamaica and I realise the food needs to cater to local palates 😉. 4.5/5, this place should be full, so please give it a try, even if you are vaguely curious ☀️

Food is excellent. Service was good. Friendly staff. Good environment. The 'goat' curry was lovely, as was my pal's coconut chicken curry. The chicken wings were delicious too.

First time here and will definitely be back! Was stunned to see how reasonably priced the food was for the flavour and portion sizes you get. The cocktails are fantastic and definitely have a kick to them! Atmosphere is homely and enjoyable and the staff are very warm welcoming and friendly. I have absolutely no faults with this establishment and have to say, the best food I've had in Inverness!

Decorated like a typical Caribbean place with Bob Marley music. We ordered Caribbean dishes, saltfish, jambalaya, jerk chicken, they did not disappoint, were all very delicious. Just don't be surprised when the server "forced" you to order a starter and a main, there is actually a minimum spend of a starter and a main stated at the bottom of the menu, however most patrons don't see that, we heard her stressing, repeating, explaining to every table. Maybe the owner can consider fixing a set meal pricing consisting of a starter and a main.

Came here for a late dinner asit was one of the few restaurants serving at 9.30pm. Whilst there were only three tables, service of drinks was particularly slow, which struck me as strange. Dinner was tasty and I would recommend it for the flavours.

Amazing food! Had the lamb shank in wine sauce, my wife had a combo platter with ribs and chicken. Everything was excellent; best lamb shank I've ever had. Fine dining in a chill atmosphere. And it was open for food on Sunday late when everything else was closed. Highly recommended!

To be honest: we ended up eating at this restaurant because it's practically the only place that serves food after 9:00 pm in Inverness. Overall, we were pleased. The food was fairly priced, huge portions, and very flavorful. The service was ok. We sat outside and it took a while to get drinks and our food. It felt like a chore whenever we tried to stop the server to get another drink - and we were kind of guilt tripped for ordering tap water. May have just been a bad night though! Overall, still would recommend - fun menu and love that they're open later.

On 17th July, after Urquhart Castle trip, my wife and I visited this restaurant for our dinner. I saw Mr Usain Bolt photo. All staffs were very kind. All meals were also very good. Very much looking forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you!

Amazing and authentic Jamaican food! The chef was very passionate and went above and beyond and created a very welcoming atmosphere. If you already have your scottish meals ticked off, then I would definetly give this place a try!

People forget with all the nice dining that it's all about food. And the food is rather pleasing here. Very flavourful and meat is well cooked that it melts in you mouth. One warning. Some indigrients are from cheap range from you local supermarket. Also food is not going to hit you with chilli and usual jamaican spicyness, since its more of a Scottish mild version. Also apparently they have a vegetarian menu as well.
