Our second visit here and I can not fault it one bit. The staff were warming, welcoming and just wonderful. The food and wine was exceptional and the quality perfect. We were seated by the window overlooking the River Ness and it’s bridges all festivaly lit up for Christmas. Our visit to the Kitchen made our Christmas Eve.

Had the lunch special here and I was very impressed. The food is at a high standard and it is reasonably priced. 2 courses for £9.95 and the cocktails are also very good and well priced. The staff were attentive and friendly and I will definitely be back. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you are in Inverness.

Excellent, refined cooking and gorgeous river views are how I would describe this restaurant. My husband and I were seated at the third floor overlooking the river; it’s a beautiful setting and perfect for a romantic date. Service is good as well, prompt and efficient but not intrusive. We ordered the slow cooked lamb shoulder and the roasted monkfish tail for our mains and the strawberry tart for our dessert. Every dish was excellently-prepared. Special compliments to the chef for the lamb - it was so tender and succulent. Possibly the one of the best renditions of lamb we have tasted in recent times.

My husband and I went here while on vacation and we had an all around great experience. We hate tourist traps that serve mediocre food and this was definitely not a tourist trap and the food was delicious. The service was also very good. We had the fish cake to start and the venison for our entrees and it was all amazing. We also enjoyed the quiet atmosphere on the upper level and the views. Definitely recommend booking here.

The venison dish at The Kitchens Brasserie is truly exceptional. From the first bite to the last, it's a culinary masterpiece that left me utterly impressed. The venison was cooked to perfection - tender, succulent, and bursting with rich flavor. The accompanying sauce(I believe plum) was a symphony of complementary tastes, elevating the dish to new heights. The presentation was exquisite, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. The Kitchens Brasserie has truly mastered the art of venison preparation, and I can confidently say it's the best venison dish I've ever had. A must-try for any food enthusiast! Great view of the river, friendly and caring staff made for wonderful dining experience.

The best dinner we had in the area! Beautiful view of the river from upstairs. There was such a perfect balance of flavours; we had the smoked salmon starter, venison and hake. We would highly recommend going to this restaurant over any others in town (in fact we found it far better than the top-rated restaurant in town) and worth the money you pay.

Comfortable and elegant place, the food was very good and so was the service, it is advisable to make an appointment to take advantage of the tables with a view of the river, the prices are not bad at all.

One of my favourite dinner experience during my Scottish holidays. The food was incredible. Fresh products perfectly cooked and tasty. I highly recommend this place. The cherry on the cake: the beautiful view on the river.

Incredible food, and they were able to get us in before our reservation which was great. The venison loin I had was beyond tender, and the lamb rump my wife had surpassed her expectations. Great accompaniments, good drink selection. The broccoli with yogurt sauce was a great additional side. Bread and soup were both good. The dessert of Dark Matter spiced rum cake was beyond delicious. We will be back!

We came for dinner this evening and were shown to a table on the second floor adjacent to the glass frontage. We both had the salmon and crab starter which was delightful. Unfortunately, despite having cod on the menu, the restaurant had replaced this with hake. This resulted in a salmon main for my wife and I had venison. Again, both meals were lovely, well presented and tasteful. Accompanied by a glass of Spanish rose which was really nice.

We were lucky that people did not show up, we forgot to make a reservation. I ate pot roasted caufilower as starter and halibut thai style. Both delicious. My daughter had pork bully and gnochi and she was super happy. The chef suggested his desert specialty and this was the best👏🏽👏🏽 Highly recommend it

Absolutely delicious, few times I’ve been now and enjoy it everytime. Was disappointed to see the steak no longer available on the menu but the chicken was just as satisfying. Both enjoyed our meals very much

Great little place set over 3 floors overlooking the river. We sat at the top floor and had a great view. Very reasonably priced set dinner menu. Catered really well for children too. Food was delicious apart from the dessert from the specials menu which was a really odd and dry deconstructed rice pudding.

We order some dessert here, one was awesome & another one was fine. Recommend for a fine dining here. This has a eye smoothing outside view from the 1st floor dining area. Location is easily findable.

We had just pulled into town and checked in where we were staying. We did not have reservations and the manager said he could get us in in about 30 minutes. Was definitely worth the wait. The dishes we had were all great. I chose the venison and it was cooked perfectly. The deserts were also great, you cannot not go wrong eating here definitely recommend it!
