Today's gluten free chocolate brownie was the moistest, melt in the mouth chocolate brownie I have ever eaten ... I wished I had bought the 2 slices now. Heavenly meringues. Would be worth travelling the 3 hours to Inverness just for your delicious food and baking. Xxx

Absolutely loved my Lasagne today. And the chips were some of the best I ever had. Crunchy outside, fluffy inside, no fat, just sheer hot tastiness! Portions are pretty big, but it was so good, I finished most of my meal. Hubby had a Burger with Haggis and also enjoyed it a lot. Found the staff to be very organised, friendly and efficient. Amazing to see what the small kitchen can produce. Found Comfort Foods by chance and we are very happy about it. We'll be back for more next time we're in Inverness! Thanks for a great lunch!

Just had a take away Panini, very good quality and quantity, excellent value for money compared to the big fast food franchises in Inverness for a lunch meal.

Came in for lunch with my partner. It was amazing. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced for what we got. Couldn't recommend the place highly enough. Great local produced foods and all fresh. Will be a regular here for sure.

Completely a pleasant surprise. Went there for lunch and the food that came out was not only brilliant but huge. As other comments have said, be prepared before going here for the portions. They are value for money and I hope they keep the portion sizes up. The service was great as well!

This restaurant is located on Church Street and it is easy to miss it because there are many restaurants on this street. The premises are much bigger than it looks from the outside. On the day we visited it was busy but we got a table. I ordered Macaroni and Cheese and like the other reviews it was a very large helping, almost too much. The service was fine and adequate. On paying, it was cash only which really surprised me as most would encourage contactless card payments. I was alright with that as I always carry cash it is much more reliable than technology!! I certainly recommend this place but be prepared for a big helping.

The first time, I got my moneys worth for the food that I ordered. The staff forgot a few things from our order but other than that the service was good. Nice place to eat. And the wall decorations that you can buy in the store are absolutely beautiful!

Average taste to be completely honest, but fresh food. And most of all, huge portions ! Did not expect that. Do not order multiple dishes if you don't have a big enough appetite. I did, as I wanted to try multiple things and unfortunately couldn't finish. Overall good experience though, nice staff :) Cash only !

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The portions are quite large and very tasty. Highly recommended as lunch or for a larger snack in between. Tip for tourists: you can only pay cash.

This is a nice, comfy dinner. We had lunch on our first day in Inverness and ended up going to breakfast almost every day we were in town. We should have gone to breakfast everyday. Generous portions of good comfort foods. But bring cash, they do not accept credit cards.

Always good “comfort food” whether it’s breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff, cash only so nip to the bank first.

Up there with the best Scottish breakfasts I’ve tried. In fairness better than most full English breakfasts too. Cheap for the portion and quality. The quality of the meat (sausage, bacon, black pudding and haggis) was exceptionally. Well cooked, good service, friendly staff, nice location.

Fish tea was huge. I thought it was a sharing platter Everything was cooked and presented to 5 star hotel standard. Staff were very polite and efficient. Plus my beloved boxer dog Gertrude was allowed to join us. Will be back before long. Thankyou

Excellent little cafe for a spot of lunch. Looks to be a local favourite. The soup of the day (sweet potato and coconut) was very tasty. Good value. One thing to note is that they are cash only, which I didn’t realise until paying.

The food here is double delicious, and the service is very quick. The staff are friendly and attentive and the restaurant is clean and tidy. I ordered a baked potato with salmon, and got an enormous amount of salmon, plus a salad, and some extra butter. So not only is the food delicious, it's also very good value for money. Also had a coffee and a hot chocolate, both of which were very good.

Great food and excellent service. The prices were very reasonable especially considering the portions you get. I was hoping to get two eggs with breakfast, so surprised to see the meal came with three. Also the meat that came with it (bacon and sausage) were a lot more than I expected and tasted great.

CASH ONLY! Good food. Great service. The porridge was delicious as was the bacon. The haggis, toast, and tea were good. They do not accept credit cards. Bring cash.

Had the fish & chips, seafood platter and the baked potatoes - both are excellent and portions are huge. The chips were not frozen pre-made unlike what most other fish & chips outlets serve. Quite busy on a weekend noon.

Best breakfast for miles. Don't make the mistake of going large, you'll never finish it and the regular is huge! Service is great, it's a cash only place.
