Bought beautiful lentil soup and rolls to eat down at the shore. Also fantastic focaccia, great butteries and a delicious apple tart. Would thoroughly recommend.
This artisan bakery is up there with the best of them, deliciously, freshly baked breads, cakes, croissants, and better still almond croissants they are just delightful.
We popped in for a coffee and bacon roll, which also didn't disappoint, Phoenix is well worth a visit, and you'll not be disappointed.
Absolutely brilliant bakery! Went for breakfast, sweets and sourdough bread. Heavenly taste. Highly recommended!
Lovely bakery, really good quality cakes, sausage rolls, croissants and bread. Also a nice little cafe, a little rough and ready in decor but with food this good, who needs polish?
Best bakery in Scotland in my opinion. The doughnuts are like they were twenty years ago in independent bakers.
This is the best bakery we have ever been to, stopped at inverbervie for a coffee at this café we had seen on our way through earlier we were received by very friendly staff we ordered 2cakes and coffee,s the cake's we're out of this world coffee,s were pretty good to will certainly be going back!!
So lucky to have this as our local bakery. Heading back again today. Tasty treats and solid well made breads. The butteries are to die for, as well as focaccia. They offer savoury pies and rolls and quiche. For sweets there's donuts, called and biscuits. You can grab a hot drink and small bits and bobs like eggs, coffee and some spreads. Bonus, learned recently the butteries are vegan!! (How?!?)
Fantastic selection of wonderful breads and baking. Sourdough baguette was superb and the croissant were great. Iced cinnamon buns and takeaway coffee by the beach were a delicious stop on the journey north.
Excellent bakery - sourdough is delicious as are the pastries and cakes. Can't fault anything we've bought there. One day we'll get there before the sausage rolls sell out!
He his an excellent Baker, particularly his bread goods
Quality of Bread and cakes amazing.
A little pricey, but you get what you pay for, so it's worth every penny.
Sampled their granary loaf at the Creel Inn and then visited the shop the following week. Lovely experience.
Bakery has eat in facilities too.
Love the GI bread glasgow rolls, buttery to die for and almond croissants delicious and the ciabatta just go get it. Staff are great and there is a small coffee shop if you can wait to eat when home. Recommend
Fantastic!!! Quality of bread, cakes, croissants and choice outstanding. And the small cafe through the back, delicious with the smell of fresh bread baking. How a Baker should be.
Absolutely love this place, best baked goods I've had! Really friendly owners and team who work hard. Lovely cafe inside as well, recently refurbished, even some sofas for a comfy coffee.
Lovely cafe. Had a latte, croissant and macaroni pie - absolutely loved it. Courteous staff and nice vibe overall. Will have to visit more
Probably the best pastries outside of Paris (I'm guessing). Their malted sourdough is to die for, and their butteries (rowies) are the best I have ever tasted. Highly recommended!
Lovely bread , croissants, cakes and wonderful service with a difference - the lady in charge is very welcoming and obviously loves her job , very pleasant and patient, professional in every way , I love the way she wraps the bread with care. Thank you !
Their Aberdeen Butteries are "AMAZING" .. Had a coffee and butteries with some friends, they were so good that we order another one each and bought a dozen to take away. We will be back soon !!
