Skippers - Inveraray - Photo album

We set up for a night with a campervan. They have good facilities here, nice toilets/washrooms which were warm. Nice views out onto the water. Inveraray is just a few minutes drive away.
Lovely eco friendly site by the Loch edge. Great views and quality hardstanding pitches with hook up and water supply for good price. Clean toilets & warm showers. Good wash up area. Even a dog wash! Friendly and helpful staff
Lovely park, many of the pitches overlook the water and the mountains, making for a beautiful view to wake up to. Service was top notch, even though we arrived after 16, everything was sorted. So all we had to do was to drive to our designated spot and relax. Quiet and calming area.
We stayed for 1 night whilst travelling north to Oban. The site is quite large and comprises mainly of static caravans. The section dedicated to campervans and motor homes was spacious and most if not all pitches have a view of Loch Fyne. The facilities were very good and the nearby town of Inverara
Great location ! Can walk into Inveraray alongside Loch Fyne. If stopping again would choose a pitch away from the front. Whilst scenic, the pitches in the middle and back of the allocated motorhome and caravan are bigger and offer more privacy
Lovely welcome. Good campsite and great location. Staff friendly and funny. Toilets and showers are fine even though not everyone leaves them as you would hope to find them. Not the staff’s fault. Good walk into Inverary but signage misleading. But you go with the flow. .
Lovely caravan park views out to the Loch. Level pitches. Return visit required. Love this site. Good meal in on site restaurant. Only complaint when site is busy toilets are very busy too.
Excellent campsite, have been coming here a couple of times a year for the last 20 years and it gets better with every trip - continually upgrading and improving the facilities. The food at Skippers on site bistro is first class, we had the sea bass and steak pie both of which were as good as we hav
Nice, quiet site next to the loch. Can walk into Inveraray- takes about 45/50mins. Good bar/restaurant on site - Skippers bistro was busy and they had a band on. Great that there is a water and electric point on every pitch. The showers in one block were out of service but this wasn’t a problem as t
A real wee hidden gem in inverary overlooking Loch Fyne, spotlessly clean well run and quiet
Spacious touring pitches in a pleasant spot close to the Loch. Quite a long walk to Inveraray but that is possible to do. Shower and toilet blocks updated recently though quality of fittings is poor, with wet floors and taps that don't turn off, which is a shame.
We stayed on the touring site. Location was fantastic. Pitches were a generous size. Used portacabin showers and dissppointef that there was insufficient hangers for clothes and nowhere to put toilet bag except on floor which got wet. However the brickbuilt ones were 100% better.
We were pitched on the front row overlooking the loch, this was all hardstanding. Pitches on rows behind had grass in-between each pitch. Pitches have electricity and water. The facilities are modern.
Covid rules sadly reduced facilities, no shower rooms or toilets open but are on site. Beautiful views of the lake, clean and big site for vans caravans and campers, also static caravans there. I did see signs saying no tents... There's a bar restaurant near entrance and a woodland walk near bye...
