This wee restaurant is a local favourite. The food is great but actually the front of house service is better.
It's rare to find such a presence at the sharp end. Always polite, very observant and busy as a bee in a gentle way.
The soup btw was incredible (I've never said that about soup before!).
We had all of the specials, starters and mains, and cannot fault one bit of it. Perfectly cooked amd absolutely delicious seafood. Already cannot wait to come back!

And although the fish choices are everything you might hope and more, with a choice of market fresh specials in addition, nor are the non-fish choices treated as second class... one of our party

Stunning seafood restaurant on the shores of Loch Fyne. Moules to start which were cooked to perfection and served in an incredible liquor, then whole lobster with fries.
Amazing! Had the pleasure of stopping at Samphire while visiting Loch Lomond. The chef prepared fresh fish batter for us on short notice due to diet requirements. The fish was perfect and crispy, simply amazing. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
