A great place to go for all your garden needs as well as loads of extra special gifts and gadgets. We went into the café and the food choice and selection are amazing. I bought some of the chocolates as a special gift and the choice again was fantastic and I'd highly recommend this place 👌

Good but parking is always a bit full and prices are pretty steep. Still, the customer service is excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant. Tasty food too. One thing they really need is an outdoor play area; that would make this a more family friendly place. As for now, it seems more popular with late middle aged and elderly people.

We went for lunch on a Friday around 12. We hadn’t book as we had no idea it would be very busy. We took the second last table in the restaurant. Staff were lovely, the table was clean and had been cleared before we sat down. Order was taken in good time and food was delivered quite promptly considering how busy they were and the variety of the menu. My friend had a vegan option and was happy with their meal. We had a nice lunch in lovely surroundings. When we left there was a queue of around 10 people waiting. Clearly the restaurant has a good reputation and from our experience seems well deserved. The cost was around £25 which is about average for a lunch and a drink x2 in the current climate.

Great place to stop by for lunch on the way from Aberdeen towards Dufftown. The food selection was big and the food delicious. It’s table service and staff were nice. Desserts also looked good.

Went here for a meal with family at around noon, ordered the Pulled Pork Filthy Fries with a coke (mistakenly got an orange san pellegrino but the swap was easy) The fries were a little lack lustre, the bowl made it so everything was quite soggy, in my opinion it made multiple great items just okay. Amazing staff to help out, all around a good time!!

This review is of the sit-in dining area. There's also a gift shop, a garden equipment store as well as garden supplies. The food is what I would class as typical Scottish fare. What I mean by that is that you won't go wrong if you like food common to the North Eat of Scotland like soups, sandwiches, and anything deep fried (chips, fish, chicken nuggets, etc). In order to provide variety to the menu there are vegetarian and 'international' specials but to be honest every time I've tried one of those they've been barely edible (a chickpea burger that was like eating plasterboard comes to mind). In my opinion these specials are probably just too removed from what the chefs speciality is, which is soups, etc. But credit to Kellockbank for at least seeking to provide a varied menu. As would be expected, a place that specialises in local food have a great selection of bakes (what we would call 'homebakes'). They are all for the most part fresh, extremely sweet and tempting. Service is great. No issues experienced by us based on several visits. In summary, I recommend this place if you stick to the basics, deviate from them at your own risk.

Love this garden centre, lots of nice gifts inside too. The cafe is great a good selection of food and a bonus for us is they serve a good variety of gluten free food, it's well worth a visit. Probably the best bacon roll in the area! Soft warm brioche roll stuffed with thick cut bacon, you really can't find better anywhere, it's a real treat.

Had a lovely meal here. Stopped off on our way from Aberdeen to Fochabers. Didn't have to wait too long for a table although it was really busy. Staff very helpful and social distancing wasn't a problem. They were very well organised. Meal was delicious and shop well stocked, as was garden centre. We were able to take advantage of Eat out to Help out which was a bonus. Will definitely visit again.

We have drove past here an often said we should go in past, we did and it is a fantastic place . We had a bite to eat in the cafe ( which the service and food received we could not fault ) and spent ages walking around the garden centre and gift shop , we got a lot of ideas of what to buy for our garden and know where to come for some unique gifts 😁
